A Place at the Beach 3F is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo located two miles south of Garden City Pier. This unit features a living/dining/kitchen combination floor plan and covered balcony with ocean views. Amenities include central heat, air conditioning, and electric kitchen appliances - dishwasher, self-cleaning oven and frost-free refrigerator. Three color TVs (cable), DVD player, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one queen and two twin-sized beds, plus one queen-sized sofa bed. Common area includes a swimming pool with large deck, coin-operated laundry facilities, and BBQ grills. Complex has elevator. Limit two parking passes per unit. No trailers. No Golf Carts allowed. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 6

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived late & I need an updated phone so I didn't get the email about picking up the key. I called the emergency# to report property damage. A very nice & helpful man calmed me down & brought me my keys & paperwork. Me had a wonderful time. The room was great. The couch seemed very worn & it would've been terrific to have an elevator on the beach end. I longer boardwalk would be an improvement too. Pompous Grass by the pool looks beautiful but does cause allergies & headache.Overall am satisfied with my stay.I have cancer in my leg & my mom is 79 so the walking to the elevator was a little & up & down hall or taking the stairs was a little ruff but also good for us.🏖

Love that we do not even have to go inside the building to pick up and drop off keys! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The elevator seems to need some work. It was very slow and stopped between floors once. Two of our family members have to use the elevator. Would be great if that could work a little better.

Reviewer Comments: We had to wait forever to get our room keys - no sure why the book everyone to sign in on the same day.In our room, our bed mattress cover had a huge urine stain in the middle of it. Big turn off!!! The toilet had urine all under the lid.Other than that the place was small but a great location.

The kitchen was dated an in need of updating. The key did not always easily fit into the deadbolt lock.
