About this cottage rental
This beautiful cabin has been renovated completely to the owner’s specifications. What was once a feeding barn, is now a cozy nook for those in search of a hideaway to replenish their hungry souls.
A haven for writers, artists and lovers of nature, Some Kind of Blue guarantees its occupants a stay that will surpass their expectations. Staying here takes you back to the appreciation of the basics: fresh air, nature, peace and total quiet. The secluded hamlet is located just 15 minutes from the closest beaches and lakes: 40 - 50 minutes from those in Viveiro, Cedeira and Ortigueira.
The space was created to accommodate two people who enjoy being in a secluded area away from major activity.
It can also house a small group (no more than 4 people) who are aware that the cabin is rather small, cozy and intimate.
The single cot in the attic overlooks the queen-sized bed in the main bedroom. The space is not private.
There are two sofa's located in the living room. An additional single bed can also be provided (upon request).
All occupants of the cottage share the same bathroom and kitchen.
There is no TV but one can be provided upon request, along with a DVD machine and movies
Meals can be provided! Guest can chose from the amazing selection of delicious dishes posted on our website. You never have to lift a finger in the kitchen if your desire is to relax and be pampered.
However, if you insist on cooking, this can be done on a stove top (there is no oven available) ... or delicious meals can also be prepared on the lovely bar-b-que out back.
Although you are not required to clean upon check-out, we ask that the place be left tidy and in order, and that all items that may have been moved around to your liking be replaced in their original positions, exactly where they were found when you had your check-in.
The property is open (not fenced), and quite large - which is its appeal for feeling at one with nature.
