OUR LOCATION:
We are within Malindi town, making it easy for guests to access services.

Notably, Malindi is a fully fledged commercial centre:
It is well served by direct flights from Wilson airport in Nairobi or by connection from Nairobi via Mombasa (Moi intl Airport).
The train, popularly known as the SGR will take you from Nairobi to Mombasa/ Miritini, where you easily connect to Malindi using some comfortable and reliable shuttles.

KARIBUNI/WELCOME TO MALINDI
Once in Malindi, it's easy to get around using taxis, tuktuks or motorbikes.

Come and spend your vacation/holiday with us, relax and experience the friendly environment in an nice easy compact neighborhood, that blends international culture with the local rich and diverse Kenyan coastal culture.

ENTERTAINMENT, FOOD & DRINK
Malindi is well served by both local and international restaurants as well as entertainment spots:

ROSADA BEACH bar and restaurant. Very nice, both Italian and English cuisined, nice for both day and night life (careful as there are 2, be sure to go on the beach...., also note that it remains closed during low season).

MASAI BEACH bar and restaurant - A really popular place for many, very nice place to while away time as you sample both Italian and local cuisines. It remains open throughout the year.

COCO BEACH bar and restaurant - same setup as above (closed during low season, so please make sure to find out first).

BABAY MARROW - Italian restaurant, It is a walking distance from our locatio. Nice place for an evening drink and dinner and for takeout, (closed during low season, so please make sure to find out first).

MARIPHOSA - A stone throw away. You can access it from the beach side. Convenient due to it's proximity, (closed during low season, so please make sure to find out first).

BARBAR bar and restaurant. It is very nice, Italian and English cuisines. Popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located in town centre. Open throughout the year.

KAREN BLIXEN bar and restaurant - very nice Italian and English cuisines. Located in town centre. Popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open throughout the year.

MALAIKA - Italian restaurant/cuisine, is down Silversands rd, some distance away from our location.

FYI:
The best pizzas are baked in Malindi.

SWAHILI & COAST CUISINE
TAHERI RESTAURANT - very nice for meals and is located in the town centre (closed on Mondays).

SEA FRONT BEACH RESTAURANT - nice for meals and is located down our road, Silversands beach road.

PIZZA ROVERS - very nice for meals has pizzas too. Located in the town centre.

All Tuktuk and motorbike guys know this ALL places very well.

SERVICES
ALL banks are present in Malindi.
ALL the oil marketers are present in Malindi.

Naivas supermarket (one of the major stores in the country), has 2 branches in Malindi, one is close to the airport and another in the town centre

SITE SEEING
MARINE PARK, is only about 2 kms away, this makes it easy for guests to make arrangements for boat rides. Please call and an get appointment for the boat ride which will depend on the time of the tide as you will be advised. Enquire about the magical island's visit.

VASCO DA GAMA'S PILLAR, is close by, a Tuktuk or motorbike ride away.

The GEDE RUINS AND ARABUKO GAME RESERVE AND FOREST. (Arabuko is part of Tsavo East conservancy). GEDE ruins is a short visit and should be done first as it is further, followed by the visit to the ARABUKO forest on the way back.

MAMBRUI SAND DUNES and HELL'S KITCHEN are in the same direction. This visit should preferably be on an afternoon. Leave for the sand dunes at about 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm, leave the sand dunes by 3:00 pm to 03:30 pm and arrive at Hell's kitchen in time to view the sunset. You will love the site of the sunset...
