About this house rental

Sea Dream Inn is a five-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath beach house located 1.3 miles south of Surfside Pier and only two blocks from public beach access. This property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher, washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, elevator, and ceiling fans throughout. Six TVs and Wi-Fi are also included. Sleeping accommodations include three king, one double, and one twin-sized bed, plus one twin-over-twin bunk bed, one twin-over-double bunk bed, and one sofa bed. Outdoor amenities include a private 12-foot-by-20-foot swimming pool with pool furniture, a covered porch, and a sundeck. Dog-friendly. Limit two dogs - 70-pound maximum weight limit if bringing one dog, 50-pound maximum weight limit per dog if bringing two. Please see the dog-friendly property agreement for details. No Smoking. Permit motorcycles. Permits trailers. Maximum occupancy: 16

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home, lots of room! Lower level “rec room” is a bonus plus large kitchen & dining area. Pool was great size, short walk to the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at this rental home.We had 13 in our party and because of the spaciousness of the home we never felt crowded. It's well appointed, well, furnished, the pool was awesome and it's a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable with excellent linens. Everything was as advertised. The communication from Garden City Realty was outstanding throughout. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house was nice and met our needs. The kitchen could use a few more items, for example we had to purchase a frying pan and a spatula to use for the week. Also, we were a little sad about the size of the pool. As a family we like to play games like water volleyball, but the pool for this home was a bit small for those types of activities. With this being said the kids loved having a place to splash around and we still made great use of our pool! Our last wish was that there was a sidewalk leading to the beach to walk safely, but cars were accommodating to us as we went to and from the beach.
