Everything was wonderful and comfortable at this apartment. The host is extremely helpful and readily available to provide assistance. The apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need to cook at home. It is conveniently located a block from the grocery store and within walking distance of many restaurants and the Les Halles. The metro to all the sites is also within walking distance. This was our second stay here and we plan on coming back for a third. Lisa, our host, made this the perfect place to stay.

Our 5 night stay was comfortable. Our kind host Lisa gave us very clear instructions to check ourselves in and the apartment was easy to access upon our arrival. She was also quick to address all of our questions and concerns. The apartment, in a fairly modern building, gets high marks for the location, comfort, space and safety. The grocery store on the same block is very convenient. Les Halles (Paul Bocuse) is a short walk away as well. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and the bathroom was very good size. The room darkening shutters are great. It's a large apartment able to fit a family of 4 or 2 couples. We missed having a separate dining area, but the kitchen has a movable cart that serves as a dining table. We are glad that we stayed in a residential neighborhood while discovering Lyon and its attractions. We would recommend this apartment as it is clearly desirable and consequently well-used (it was quite clean, but could use a little sprucing up / polishing). Good find!!

I stayed at this property for 8 days with two other adults. The accommodations fit our needs perfectly. The apartment was spacious and clean with very nice bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room and balcony. The location worked well, it’s walking distance to many places in Lyon including Croix Rousse, Vieux Lyon the beautiful Parc de la Tête d’Or. There’s a small grocery store with everything you need right across the street. Check-in was easy and connecting with the renter was ideal, she responded immediately to all communication. I would highly recommend this rental property to anyone.

The apartment served us very well. The hostess was easy to communicate with and very helpful. There is a bus 2 blocks away that took us to the peninsula and to the other side. We found it very convenient

Although it presents well, we were 4 seniors in a place better suited for perhaps 2 younger people. There was no social area for 4 except a cramped pull-out dinner table with bar stools in the kitchen. The livingroom had a couch for two but the other 2 chairs were uncomfortable, and none as pictured. The balcony had seating for two. The location was good but an overall disappointment.

Excellent location! Very quiet neighborhood and super convenient to the Super U ( grocery store) as well as dozens of great bakeries and restaurants casual and more formal. Short walking distances for the fit to every important site in Lyon. Apartment has every convenience, and was really easy to check in and check out!

We loved this beautiful apartment. It is spacious and so well-equipped that one could move in and live permanently. Our only issue is that we could not figure out how to manage the temperature in the apartment during the heat wave happening during our visit. The apartment is on the sixth (for Americans 7th) floor of a quiet building in a very quiet quarter. The elevator served us well and fits two adults easily. The building is secure, as is the neighborhood, and there is a large grocery store right across the street. The kitchen is very well-equipped with utensils and cookware. The appliances were easy to use with clear English instructions. The shower is one of the best we’ve ever had in a rental apartment. Similarly, the host’s booklets of instructions were the best we’ve ever seen. We usually choose more lively neighborhoods than this. From this place, an easy walk of about 10 minutes in different directions puts you in several different lovely squares and neighborhoods with cafés, restaurants, and shops. The closest metro stop is about 10 or 15 minutes of leisurely walking. We also walked to the Parc de la Tête d’Or and to the Rhône several times. We discovered more wonderful restaurants nearby than we could sample. All the places at which we did eat were fabulous. We also sampled several artisanal boulangeries in the neighborhood for croissants and pains au chocolat. Yum!
