Home Access:
Guests will need to check in with the guard at the community gate. The house itself can be accessed via a smart lock. Prior to your arrival, you’ll receive a unique access code for a seamless and secure self-check-in experience.

St. Malo Beach is a private, gated community known for its exclusivity and upscale properties. It offers a sense of privacy and security, making it a sought-after location for those looking for a serene and luxurious beach experience. The neighborhood is renowned for its French Normandy-style homes, characterized by their picturesque, old-world charm, including steeply pitched roofs, stone exteriors, and intricate architectural details.
Getting Around:
Navigating the nearby area is relatively straightforward. We recommend bringing or renting a car for the greatest flexibility, although ride-sharing services such as Lyft and Uber are also available. Oceanside is also a bike-friendly city with several bike paths and lanes.

This property is excellent for families.We were an older group (65-75). So it would have been nice if their were grab bars in the bathrooms. But we managed to have a great time being together!

The house was exactly as shown in the photos. It has plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. It is exquisitely decorated and modern. Very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Gorgeous home, lots of room for our family gathering. Close to the tennis courts and short walk to the beach. Well appointed kitchen, large pantry, nice living room, nice sized bedrooms, everything in the home was very well thought out and made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

This home is beautiful and comfortable in every way. A treasure of a place to vacation! The neighborhood even felt like a story book. We loved our walks to the private beach and enjoyed playing pickleball right across the street. We played card games in the evenings at the large dining table. It was all so memorable and magical.
Our host Nick was fantastic too, and we felt very well taken care of …Thank you!! We loved our stay and plan to go back someday.

This house is simply gorgeous!!! We stayed for three nights with our two son’s, celebrating our youngest 30th birthday who came in from Australia with his girlfriend. The St. Malo private gated community is like something out of a fairytale. The house is walking distance from the beach and at the end of a cul-de-sac, very private. The house had everything that we never had to leave. I was able to make all our meals even a BBQ for Father’s Day. We were able to play tennis and pickle ball the house has lots of sports equipment along with lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. The washer/dryer came in handy to wash our clothes before going home. The master bedroom is so charming with a fireplace and large bathroom and walking closet. The bottom part of the home has A/C that kept the house very cool. The bedrooms upstairs all have ceiling fans and all the french doors have screens so you can sleep with the doors open and let the ocean breeze in. Check-in and check-out were easy. There’s a beautiful coffee table book about St. Malo that I read from beginning to end, on the history of this enchanted place. We fell in love with St. Malo that we are scheduling a trip in 2024 to St. Malo in France. We will definitely be returning here.

We stepped into a modern day fairy tale. The house was amazing with so much attention to every detail and we were shocked that we got to stay there! This place has it all and we highly recommend it!

From booking to checkout, the hosts were amazing. The property is nestled in a French-village style gated community right on the beach. The property was even more beautiful and accommodating than the listing and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We were able to house ages 9 through 75 with ease. Everyone could have their own space and could easily walk to the beach, play volleyball, play tennis or walk through the neighborhoods. There were also many walkable shops and restaurants within a mile of our place. We would definitely rent again from this host and stay at this property again. Thank you!
