Welcome to The Birch Ridge in the charming town of Killington, Vermont! Our English Gentleman's Room is the perfect cozy hideaway for your next mountain escape. Inside, you'll find a comfortable king bed, a gas fireplace for added warmth, and an ensuite bathroom.

Beyond your private space, The Birch Ridge offers a variety of shared amenities. Start your day with a fresh brew from the coffee station, and later, enjoy a friendly game of pool or shuffleboard. As the sun sets, take a soak in one of the two shared hot tubs under the starry sky. With nearby skiing, hiking, and endless outdoor activities, you'll always have something to look forward to.

The Birch Ridge's common areas were fully updated in 2023 and include a stunning A-frame Great Room complete with a full bar, 12' shuffleboard table, coffee station, microwave, water cooler, shared beverage fridge, and a large gas fireplace. Enjoy streaming TV and surround sound speakers while relaxing in cozy lounge spaces with high-top tables, sofas, and swivel chairs. The entryway provides convenient benches for getting out of gear, and for those who need it, an elevator offers access to the first-floor rooms. A commercial ice machine ensures you'll never run short on ice.

In the second A-frame, the common dining room seats 20 and includes a pool table and access to the front patio, where you'll find one of the two shared hot tubs. The property is equipped with gigabit mesh Wi-Fi, Synexis air-purifying devices, ample parking for over 20 cars, and two EV chargers.

The English Gentleman's Room, located on the second floor and up one flight of stairs, decorated in classic Vermont B&B style, and features a king bed, two comfortable chairs, a gas fireplace, smart TV, and mini-split AC for summer months. This listing is for Room #9, with access to shared spaces. You may also book additional rooms or the entire property.

• There is no kitchen, but we do have coffee stations, a common shared beverage fridge, and bottled water dispensers.
• This listing is for guest room #9 on the second floor of The Birch Ridge and up one flight of stairs. Other areas of the property including the entryway, great room, dining room, sitting area and hallways are shared space and may have other guests. We have two shared hot tubs available. There are a total of eleven guest rooms at the property. You may rent additional rooms or the entire property through our other listings.
• All rooms have portable or mini-split AC units in the summer.
• The minimum rental age is 25.
• We'll send you smart lock codes for easy, contactless check-in and check-out.
• We're flexible with check-in/out times when possible, and guaranteed options are available for an extra charge.
• No smoking inside (including e-cigs). You can light up outside, but make sure you're 75 feet from the building. There's a $500 fine for smoking indoors.
• You'll need to e-sign our rental agreement after booking.
• For your safety and ours, we have cameras on the outside of the property, in the common entryway and in the common hallways of the property that are capable of recording all the time. There are no cameras in any living areas.
• Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We may use Minut, smart home technology that measures volume levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask. We are committed to your comfort so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.
• You understand use of the hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the hot tub and hold owner and property manager harmless.
• No fireworks, please.
• Sorry, no pets allowed — bringing one will lead to eviction.
• Winter weather can be tricky! No weather-related refunds, so we recommend travel insurance. All-wheel drive & winter tires are a good idea too.
• Limitation of Liability: The owner and their rental agent shall not be held liable for any injuries or damages to the tenant, the tenant's family, or guests that occur during the tenant's occupancy of the property. The Tenant agrees to indemnify and hold the property manager and their representatives harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, or legal actions arising from the Tenant's use or occupancy of the premises.
