The S. S. Fontana is that and so much more, located right on Main Street in charming Fontana-on-Geneva Lake. Perfect for a couple’s retreat, babymoon, or a honeymoon, this 2-bedroom flat is sure to please everyone with its modern and stylish interior as well as its walkable proximity to shopping, dining, and the Fontana public beach. Six free beach passes are included with your stay (parking not included), a significant savings for you and your guests. Rent paddleboards, kayaks, or a boat and enjoy a full day out on the water under the sun. Snag a cup of coffee from a local café and stroll to the park during the peaceful morning hours. This area is enjoyable to visit in the winter months with plenty of activities to offer such as ice fishing, sculptures that you have to see to believe, and lively winter festivals. In an area filled with things to see and do, you’ll never run out of options for days and nights alike.
Inside the home, you’ll find luxurious furnishings paired with calming, neutral colors and décor. With a tasteful lake theme running throughout, you’ll feel connected to the outdoors at all times, reminded why you came to Lake Geneva for your vacation. The open floor plan creates a combined space perfect for relaxation as well as entertainment. The cozy living room offers plush sofa seating, a large mounted smart TV, and a gas fireplace for creating a warm ambiance in the colder months. Curl up together for an exciting movie or binge your favorite shows. Steps away, an antler chandelier hangs over a rustic dining room table with seating for 4, connected to the fully equipped kitchen. Stainless steel appliances and creamy stone countertops are accompanied by a suite of cookware and dining ware here to make preparing homecooked meals a breeze. A coffee bar with drip coffee maker and all the trimmings is a wakeup call you’ll actually be excited to answer. When you’re ready for more of that fresh country air, head out onto the roof deck furnished with comfortable lounge chairs, chaise, and a high-top dining table with stools. Enjoy a cocktail and spread of afternoon appetizers al fresco while you watch the comings and goings of the local scene. The cherry on top? You can end every day with a delicious scoop of fresh ice cream just downstairs.
This home comfortably sleeps 6 guests between 2 private bedrooms and a queen size sofa in the living room.
Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower.
Bedroom #2 includes a king size bed, and desk.
The home also includes an additional full bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.
THINGS TO NOTE:
-Washer and dryer in home.
-Parking available for 2 vehicles. When the ice cream shop is open (mid-spring to mid-fall), parking is across the street in the lot with the sign marked "S. S. Fontana Tenants Only". When the ice cream shop is closed (mid-fall to mid-spring), parking for 2 cars is in the driveway right under the Blue Heaven sign.
-The Abbey Resort is around the corner.
The resort area around Geneva Lake offers excitement for any age. Whether you’re an adventure-seeker, love to explore nature, or immerse yourself in the arts, Geneva Lake has it all! Local beaches include Riviera Beach, Big Foot Beach State Park, with trails and picnic areas, and Fontana Beach. The Geneva Lake Shore Path is over 20 miles long and offers views of historical estates on one side with clear blue waters and tranquil views on the other. You’ll be sure to catch sight of a sailboat or antique vessel as they drive by across the pristine waters. Be sure to time your evening right to catch a stunning Geneva Lake sunset from anywhere along the shore path. With so many things to do and see, you’ll want to visit Geneva Lake over and over again.
