The perfect villa for a large family or group of friends, Villa Margarita accommodates up to 7 guests across 4 bedrooms and enjoys a private pool, spacious alfresco living and uninterrupted views of Capri Island and the surrounding countryside.

Located in Pastena, a hamlet in the municipality of Massa Lubrense, and a few minutes' drive from Sant'Agata sui due Golfi and the beaches of the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts, is the beautiful independent residence of Villa Margarita.

The villa, which is spread over three levels, enjoys four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large eat-in kitchen, dining room, and living room with fireplace.

Entry to the villa is via 15 steps, where you ascend onto a large terrace beautifully furnished with an array of outdoor lounges, table and chairs and a shaded gazebo to shade during the hot summer months. From the main terrace, you enter the ground floor of the villa which houses the living and dining rooms and a separate eat-in kitchen.

The lounge room is a cosy affair and offers a serene corner for rest and relaxation. It is quaintly furnished with an eclectic array of antiques and includes a lounge and reading corner that circles an open fireplace. The thick walls of the villa provide a cool indoor retreat during the hot summer months. Adjacent to the living room is a separate dining room furnished with glass table and cane chairs for up to 7 guests. The separate eat-in kitchen is reflective of the villas’ country cottage feel and is quaintly decorated with a mix of wood and tile décor.

Villa Margarita’s kitchen is perfect for the avid chef, or for those looking to experiment with the wonderful organic produce that the area offers. Alternatively, you may wish to sit back on the terrace and be treated by our private home chef experience. Either way, the kitchen is spacious and well equipped with all the essentials to make meal preparation for your group a breeze. It includes an oven, 4-burner gas cooktop, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer.

The kitchen opens onto the entry terrace and is the perfect setting for sipping that morning espresso. From the entry alcove and up a wooden flight of stairs you reach the second level and main sleeping quarters of the villa. This level consists of 2 double bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom, 1 single room and the main guest bathroom. In addition, there is a study/reading area with TV, and small kitchenette which provides for the basics if you feel like a quick tea, coffee, or cool drink.

The décor of the bedrooms is traditional in style with some antique wooden masonry dating back to the 17th Century. An internal staircase from the second floor will take you to the top floor of the villa. Here you have the third double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and main access to the rooftop pool deck and panoramic terrace with sweeping views of Capri Island and the surrounding countryside. This private retreat offers complete seclusion and tranquillity from the rest of the villa and the local surrounds.

It offers a space solely dedicated to you and your family and friends where you can soak up the heavenly Mediterranean sun or cool off with a dip in the 100sqm swimming pool (NOTE: the pool is open from late May to late September only). Laze on the sunbeds or enjoy alfresco dining, whatever your choice, this space provides for maximum comfort and relaxation. Below the pool deck is a shower and bathroom for your convenience.

With various outdoor entertaining options and an impressive rooftop pool area – Villa Margarita is the perfect space for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, offering the enviable Sorrento lifestyle to holidaymakers.

Location & Access
Villa Margarita is located in Pastena and only a short drive to the renowned hillside village of Sant’ Agata sui due Golfi.

There is much to enjoy within Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, including great shops and restaurants, the Monastery of Deserto and various archaeological ruins. If you enjoy walking, there are many trails along the coast and inland. The town is also a great centre for many excursions on the Sorrento Peninsula and beyond with some of the main tourist attractions located only a short drive away such as Sorrento (10km), Positano (18km) and Nerano (6km), a quaint fishing village famous for its beaches and amazing seafood restaurants.

The Villa is accessible on foot only from the main road. A complimentary car space for one medium sized vehicle is available and located approx. 250m from the villa. Nothing is too much for our guests. The Gocce Concierge team can arrange private transfers, an in-house maid service, cooking classes and a home chef to prepare the most divine local dishes using fresh organic produce.

Important information to know before booking

SECURITY DEPOSIT 
A security/ damage deposit of €500 is required to cover accidental damage to the property during your stay. The security deposit is a refundable deposit processed with a credit card pre-authorisation which will be refunded/unblocked following your stay. This deposit relates to both the damage to property and/or furnishings and the state and condition in which the actual property is left at check-out.

PRESENTATION OF IDENTIY DOCUMENTS PURSUANT TO ITALIAN LAW
we are required to register all guests’ staying in any type of temporary accommodation, including holiday home rentals. We kindly ask that all guests send in advance, or have an ID document available to present to your host at check-in.

ITALIAN LOCAL TOURIST TAX
Please note that the Local Tourist Tax is NOT included in the accommodation price and must be paid directly to your host at check-in. The amount of this tourist tax is calculated according to the number of nights of your reservation and must be paid by all guests aged 18 years and over. The amount varies in each council/local government area, and must be paid directly to your host on arrival.

PROBLEM RESOLUTION
We regularly visit and check each property to ensure the highest possible standard of accommodation.  If you have any issues during your stay, please do let us know. Any complaints lodged at the end or after your stay will not be taken into consideration. If you leave the property without informing us, you will lose all rights to claim any possible refund, or rebate. Please note that unforeseen encounters such as electricity, water and gas cuts due to problems with the national service provider do not warrant a refund or rebate. Should this occur during your stay at one of our properties, we will do our best to solve the problem at your earliest convenience.

Check-in is from 14:00 – 22:00 and check-out is at 10:00
For arrivals after 22:00, a late check-in surcharge of €30 applies which must be paid in cash to the host on arrival
