Great place to stay to visit rheinfalls

Very polite staff, clean, very good food, large room, great shower. Easy drive to rheinfalls.

No Aircon but there were fans in rooms Kettle in room but no cups or tea/coffee

Gerne wieder!

Ein riesiges Bett, gutes Frühstück, gutes Restaurant im Haus. Alles sehr sauber

Die Lage, lag schon recht weit außerhalb. Da wir mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs waren, waren wir froh über das gute Restaurant und dass wir nicht noch einmal runter in die Stadt mussten.

Ich würde meinen Urlaub hier nicht verbringen. Für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt während einer Geschäftsreise geht’s.

Sehr gutes Restaurant und sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Ausstattung in den Hotelzimmern ist gerade so, dass man sich noch nicht beschwert.

Gets the job done but ain't perfect

Breakfast was great and there is almost always a spot for your car. Most of the staff are nice and very helpful. Restaurant food was also pleasant.

One particular staff member was very rude and cold towards me and my colleague. The room given this time had paper thin walls because I could hear people talking in their phone next door quite clearly. Room also had really loud bathroom fan and terrible internet in that part of the hotel at least. Also the view was blocked with BBC arena and people were walking past my window quite often but luckily there was some good shades and curtains. Also the cleaners were quite noisy when doing their routine but I guess there's no helping it.

Not bad, bus to centre approx 20 mins.

Nice breakfast, good staff. Place is clean with free coffee machine on our floor.

Easy to access. Undercover enclosed safe parking for motorcycles. Friendly helpful staff. Large rooms. Balcony. Good restaurant and great Breakfast spread. Coffee and Tea making facilities in corridors.

A little far out from the station for us. Quite isolated as in anywhere else to walk to on an evening but good bus service too and from city centre.

I was trying to check out at around 7:30 am to catch up to my flight but there was no one at the reception and when I talk to the other staff working there they don’t understand English and I didn’t know how to check out until someone came to me at around 8 am even though it says check out starts at 6:30

Great stay in the Schaffhausen area

We loved our stay at this hotel! We were a family of five and we took the family suite on the third floor. It was a nice surprise to find out it had . air conditioning :). The room was very spacious and clean , the beds were comfortable The restaurant downstairs had great food with a big variety (loved the breakfast!) and the staff members were very friendly and even helped us get our room sooner. I would definitely stay here again!

The only downside is that the hotel was located outside the city, so no other stores or restaurants nearby in a walking distance. If This doesn't bother you (as it didn't bother us) then it's the right place for you

don't sleep there for safety!

reception arrogant, there were bugs in the room, we heard it was normal because we are not alone on this planet. The kids got bitten, we'll take the case to a lawyer, avoid this hotel !!!!

A great alternative location to stay a short bus ride outside Schaffhaussen centre.

Excellent food in the restaurant, friendly staff who spoke good English.

nice hotel

generous room size, comfy beds and very clean room, very cool to see the horses aswell from the restaurant

the location was a little far from everything although there is a bus stop round the corner to take into Schaffhausen, the breakfast was OK but hot items were cold, I feel we paid a lot of money for not many amenities

Reasonable hotel at the price

Reception with no problem. Room was OK and shower good. The hotel is slightly outside the town but only a short drive and they have free parking.

No Balcony, no view from room. Thge room overlooked a horse stable. It turns out that the hotel encircles a horse ranch and this wasn't mentioned previously. Sometimes there is noise early in the morning (tractors, horse feeding, etc) and sometimes a smell from the stables, not too serious but noticeable every now and then. In the room there was an electric kettle but no cups or teaspoons which I had to request from the reception. On our floor there was a coffee machine in the corridor but didn't work properly. I must mention that when I went down to the front cafe to get a coffee one evening, they remembered that I had a problem with the coffee machine and provided me with a free (and very good) cappuchino.

Good parking including several places for electric charging.

Hotel is in industrial area outside of city center or any attractions, but if you have a car, it is not a problem really. There were no airconditioning in our room, just fan. Ok for spring, not sure for summer and not sure about other rooms.
