Beautiful finca 12 mins drive to Puerto de la Cruz

The hotel is beautiful, the landscape is amazing and the apartment is comfortable, including the beds! the view from the apartment was beautiful, you can see the ocean and the plantains

The apartment is a bit humid, we had to open the windows for a while whenever we returned. Depending on the neighbors it can get a bit noisy as they are only separated through door. The location on Google maps is not 100% accurate would suggest to adapt it

A nice rural getaway

+ Location seemed to be part of Wes Anderson movie : colorful and authentic + The garden is spectacular, between the scenographic pool, blooming lilies & banana plantation : cannot decide what we loved more + The finca is well located at 15' distance from Puerto de la Cruz and nearby the highway + Check-In details were received through WhatsApp and it was easy to follow + The views from our apartment were incredible: one side the mountain and the other side the ocean. We felt lucky to have both + Breakfast was exceptional and it looked attentively designed. We enjoyed it every time. Coffee wasn't great though + Kitchen was properly equipped + Many lizards on the propriety :) you decide if it's a plus or not

- Our bed / mattress felt relatively old and worn out. Unfortunately, nights were very complicated and we didn't sleep properly. - Musty smell in the apartment - The electricity went of everyday for an hour during breakfast time - Our apartment was connected to another apartment by a door. The door was locked, but you could still hear all the conversations - There was no change of towels / cleaning during 3 days, which might be expected when you're not at a hotel - Pool chairs weren't comfortable

Paradise on Earth

This place was simply incredible. Wonderfully located in the hills above Puerto de la Cruz, with a view on the mountains on one side and the city and ocean below on the other. The accommodation is part of a banana plantation with fruit trees, flower beds and lizards everywhere. The houses at the property are in a rustic, traditional style and if there was no TV and wifi router, one might be in a different century all together. I absolutely loved this style. Wonderful atmosphere, quietness and kind staff. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Kitchen equipped enough for very simple meal preparation. It was easily accessible as it is near the highway exit. Check-in was also easy, we got instructions by whatsapp a day in advance. There some shops and restaurants in a walkable distance or you can drive to the bigger city in under 15 minutes. I would come again.

Beautiful building and space inside. Lovely views and gardens. Tranquil. Comfortable sofas.

Insufficient kitchen utensils e.g no sieve to drain vegetables or rice. Two ring hob. No microwave or oven. On arrival TV unplugged behind large dresser. No satellite channels. Pool empty for maintenance although at time of booking it stated was closed from 21-31 January. Dehumidifier located in main room on arrival.

Dream stay

I loved the location and how it all looked. It was like in a movie. So pretty and authentical. And then the views! The beds were so comfortable. Loved it. Also the interiors - very sweet.

What I would like to improve is a kitchen utilities, cups and glasses looks amazing, but I wished for more options. Like e.g. coffee mashine or dishwasher. If it could be a bit more modern - I would get 10/10. (If you cook at home - you will understand). P.s. I would improve communication. I asked one question while I booked it - and they never answered my queastions. Also I had to write them and ask about checking in and all the details. It would be more pleasent if the host provided all infos beforehand.

great stay for couples who are looking for a cosy stay with a great scenery

clear instructions. everything was as described in the messages. The room was clean and we had a lot of privacy. Breakfast could be ordered by just texting the number via whatsapp. The gave us maps of tenerife too.

the outdoor, garden, and pool.

there is no air conditioning, can be hard to sleep during warm nights as well as you cant open windows since there is no protective net to keep instincts out and the famously Canaria’s lizards!

Gorgeous place surrounded by banana plantation. Lots of space, very beautiful, stocked kitchen for cooking, nice breakfast to take outside and watch the ocean.

We received breakfast basket after waking up every day, you can ask for bananas which are growing right in front if you which is great. Pool is nice although looks bit older but with comfortable sunbeds. We also appreciated very comfortable beds. Only disadvantage of Finca el Patio is the amount of lizards everywhere but you will get used to it after a day spending there, its also reasonable if you are surrounded by nature :)

Very good

Very peaceful, a few people. Just what I wanted. The lady was very nice to us, answered all our questions.

A little bit hard to check in. We knew where the keys are but we didn’t know the code, the alarm went off. A little bit hard to find someone to tell us. The towels weren’t changed only when we told them to. We didn’t want them to clean our room but at least they should empty the garbage.

Amazing place! Love it!

A great stay with an amazing tropical garden and great breakfast overlooking the sea. The staff was very kindly and Carmen the owner was very professional and helpful; she was online available whenever needed.

The only thing we missed in the apartment was the basic spices (salt, pepper) for preparing meals. But only because we were used to it from previous accommodation.

Not what it promises

- the garden was nicely designed - it was clean

- the apartment was very dark, humid and outdated - horrible first impression when entering the apartment - Pans and pots are on the floor behind a cupboard door - View from the window on a field full of boxes and junk - Shower device completely calcified and worn out - Pool quite damaged - Sitting in front of the apartment you stare at a wall (at least the wall had some windows to see the ocean) - All in all not a 4**** accommodation. My rating would have been better if the host wouldn't set expectations too high -> max 3***

Beautiful place!

The whole place is gorgeous, I could spend a long time just soaking in the setting. The pool is surrounded by fruit plantations. The breakfast is very fresh and you can ask for a specific time for it to be delivered to your room. They lady is also very responsive if you have any questions. I will definitely be staying again.

I think we were unlucky that the weather was so cold, so we didn't get to try the pool as it isn't heated. However I don't think that should put you off, the pool itself looked great. The only thing that wasn't great was that the room itself was very dark, even with all the lights on, you had to wait for your eyes to adjust. The rooms upstairs in the main house look like they have bigger windows so are probably brighter.

In general was okay, location not too bad, was a bit difficult to find at darkness. Easy to reach lovely towns around as well as Al Teide.

Same breakfast every morning, sometimes not that fresh. Not heated swimming pool, probably perfect during hot season but not in winter.

apartment flooded with old style windows and roof had little leak - but this was exceptional bad weather !

We liked to stay in the villa, it was very quite and little gecos came to have a breakfast with us on the patio every morning. the location had a great pool and juccuzzi.
