Ideal para passar um ou dois dias na Ilha de Santiago e conhecer aquela zona central da cidade.

Da localização. Simpatia dos funcionários.

Os preços não são os anunciados no Booking, eles vão ser inflacionados com taxas e taxinhas. No pequeno-almoço havia moscas por todo o lado, inclusivamente em cima da comida, na fruta, queijo, fiambre, pão, etc. O espaço para as refeições é pequeno. Jantei lá Massa Carbonara e fiquei com diarreia no dia seguinte, a minha namorada provou a minha massa e ficou igualmente indisposta. Não consigo dizer de certeza se foi dessa massa, mas durante todos os outros dias e várias refeições tomadas em sítios diferentes, o estômago manteve-se firme. O chuveiro só deitava um fio de água fria e se ajustássemos para mais quente, a água saía logo muita e a ferver. Pareceu-nos que os funcionários não se comunicam e estão um pouco desorganizados, pedimos para prolongar o checkout e fizemos todos os pagamentos devidos, entretanto estávamos no quarto a descansar e um casal de franceses abriu a porta do quarto! Aparentemente tinham-lhes atribuído o nosso quarto! Os funcionários na receção pareceram-nos desorientados, por exemplo, tínhamos acabado de descer para entregar a chave do quarto (que era uma cartão de plástico imundo de cola), estávamos à espera que a funcionária terminasse o atendimento de outras pessoas e sem razão para tal confundiu-nos com eles e perguntou se os passaportes deles eram nossos, após dizermos que não, respondeu logo que não tinham mais quartos de casal livres, eu estava com a chave do quarto na mão para lhe dar e de saída! Surgi da zona dos quartos e já nos tínhamos visto! Só estavam seis pessoas no hall bem distintas umas das outras.

It's really in the center of Plateau, so very convenient. Breakfast was quite good.

It's a quite decent hotel, a bit worn down but fine to stay for a night.

Exceptional

The whole staff has been extremely kind and welcoming. We were travelling with our 9 months old daughters and they have been very nice to us and to her. The hotel is equipped with high chairs and they provided a cradle for our staying. Breakfast and meals are delicious. We recommend this option for people travelling and staying in Praia.

The size of the room was good. The location was also good. Breakfast was not bad, I was able even to get the vegan option. The city fruit market is a few minutes away, the ethnographic museum is just across the road.

The shower was extremely bad or no water at all. I had to walk many times to reception and to beg sorted this problem. Also, communication was not good at the reception as I did not speak Portuguese or French.

I was not put in Hotel Santa Maria, but in a facility two (small) blocks over. The room itself was definitely fine.

Most probably the best place you can stay in the centre of Praia! The breakfast was great, services and people there too!

Great location to the port, great value money/services

Good location, very fast wifi connection and very kind staff. The room was very clean and the air conditionig worked perfectly. The shampoo and shower gel had a very good smell.

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, there was a lot of noise outside (and the doors and windows didn’t stop it) and the light at the bathroom was very poor. Basic breakfast.

I booked a room in advance and booking was confirmed. Hotel messaged me on the check in date that they won't accept me in the end because they are overbooked- it was 2 hrs after possible check in time when I was on my way to the place already. They left me with nothing. Very unprofessional behavior and not reliable so please be careful with them

Not the stay we expected.

The location was good.

The rooms where very small and stuffy and we could hear all the noise from Noite Branca. None of us could sleep until 4am because of the noise. The staff didn't find quieter rooms and didn't get us rooms next to each other even thought we asked for it beforehand (when we booked) and the hotel charged us extra to have separate beds even thought the beds were next to each other, there was literally no space in the room to separate them.

Great staff Meals fabulous especially the fish in the evening. Great comfortable mattress.

Internet very poor even at the reception breakfast area. No signal at all if you want to sit and have a drink outside on the terrace. No signal in your room either.
