Petit Hotel Alaró is a charming little gem in a lovely, offbeat Mallorcan town.

Hosts Angela and Mauro are superb. Breakfast each morning is home-made by the hosts and served in their lovely dining room or outdoor bistro-style tables by the pool if you wish. The hotel is like a little private oasis in this beautiful and charming town of Alaró, in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains. It has a thriving local and expat community, an excellent Saturday open-air market in the town square, and is favored by cyclists from all over Europe. A big bonus for car travelers is the Petit Hotel's private parking lot, as it is a tall order to find parking in those tight little roads - book the parking spot if you can!

We had a beautiful room with a lovely view but the best thing was the warm atmosphere and the accomodating and friendly owners.. Good breakfast, parking, tranquil outdoor space with a pool. Guests can use kiitchhen to cook.

No wifi in some rooms but there is in common living room and kitchen.

The location and the house (more of a mansion) itself are amazing. Alaro is a small town at the base of Serra de Tramuntana, cozy, cheerful and extremely close to the main points of the island - airport (32 mins by car), Serra de Tramuntana (30 mins), north of the island (35-40 mins), Soller (35 mins). The best part of Alaro was the temperature and (very important) the air humidity! If in Palma, in july, we found humidity around 65-70% (quite hard to breathe), in Alaro it was much more reasonable and the air was breathable. The temperature was also very pleasant compared to other towns/villages in Mallorca. The mansion was so beautiful and the yard was simply stunning. Mornings there were a total delight and we miss it already. Breakfast was refreshing, different each day and perfectly matching the destination. We ll definitely be back as soon as possible and would totally recommend it to everyone!

Relaxing atmosphere. Welcoming, friendly hosts. Very clean. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed. Freedom to use kitchen. Somewhere secure to leave bikes. Close to town. Quiet road.

No plug for the bath.

Spotless room, great breakfast that changed from morning to morning. Interesting and different decor in the hotel that reflects the good taste of Angela and Mauro, our two lovely hosts.

A real gem, would not hesitate to return.

This is a little gem. Great location near the centre of Alaro with parking and a pool. There's a well stocked honesty bar and plenty of space to relax outside and in. Very friendly and helpful owners who really went above and beyond to help and make our stay a true pleasure. I have no hesitation to recommend staying here if you're visiting the island.

Amazing stay !

Angela and Mauro are very nice hosts, they made us feel at home :-) The swimming pool is a delight. The suite room was very big and nice. It was very practical to be able to cook and to prepare our meals from time to time.

Very welcoming hosts nothing was too much trouble for them plus it felt like home from home holiday.
