We had a lovely stay at Casa Sophie e Charlotte and would recommend it.

The view was spectacular and the apartment was good value for money.

The walk into the square was longer than stated, it was more like 45 minutes either way and taxis were not easy to obtain, although if guests are fit enough it isn't too much of a problem and it is a very pleasant walk.

Location - it is difficult to be there without a car, 40 min walk to Varenna.

Superb

The place was nice and clean and spacious. The view was fab. Varenna was only 6 min drive. I highly recommend this place as a relaxing accommodation

Nice lake view appartment

The appartment looks just like the pictures. It has everyting you need. And a wonderful view over the lake

It needs some mosquito nets. And a very important aspect. It's not in Varenna. It's a 45 min walk to Varenna, on a hilly road that has no sidewalk. We didn't rent a car, we thought we can manage by bus or bolt, but there were no cars available anytime. On the second day, we took numers from taxi, and we managed to come and go to the city (15€/trip)

Great and quiet location with wonderful views. The accommodation was great and had everything you needed

The shower head didn't fit in the holder, so you had to hold it whilst showering. Also the heating system didn't work.

Perfect vacation

Such a peaceful place! Very clean, perfectly equipped and spacious apartment. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. The views from terrace beyond amazing. The car is necessary to move around, but we were aware so all went perfect. Only the best recommendations!

Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views

Breathtaking views from the living room / kitchen and terrace - day and night. Great location, close to ferry that connects you with a lot of other areas and 15 mins ferry ride from Bellagio but still away from tourist crowds. Very helpful host. A bit dated but very clean and cosy, with all kinds of kitchen supplies, from pans and utensils to salt and olive oil :)

This is not a list of negatives but just things to consider (we didn't mind any of them): 1) it's best if you have a car 2) central heating in Italy starts from 15th October, we were provided with a small electric heater in the meantime and we were fine but might not be enough for children

Great stay, would book again if we are in the area again.

The security of the property! We have bicycles and a lot of stuff in the car and it was great to have a roomy garage to keep everything additional to the property having gates both for cars and pedestrians with key-only access. The views at the property are stunning!! The property itself has everything you need and is roomy enough to feel comfortable. Livio, the host, was making sure that we are comfortable and have everything we need!

Exceptional lake view.

The view from the balcony is AMAYZING. Flat is nice and modren, kitchen equipped really well.

A lot of musquitos in the area, no measures to lessen their effect. No soap or shower gell.

Very good location to Varenna with beautiful lake view. Livio was very friendly and helpful.

The mattress in the bedroom was very soft, it was very uncomfortable.

Excellent! MILLION DOLLAR VIEWS

Our host was spectacular. Very accommodating & helpful. The apartment was clean & the views are GORGEOUS!! Pics doesnt do this place justice. Woke up to an amazing view of the lake. The town, ferry & train station was about 5 mins away. Location was PERFECT!! I highly recommend this place. 10 stars!
