About this house rental

Tower house is a large, 5 Star, award winning Victorian family home, situated in Mundesley, a small seaside village with a blue flag sandy beach, on the north east heritage coast of Norfolk. It is the perfect setting for large family gatherings or special occasions, with a fabulous kitchen to gather in and excellent games room and garden to keep the children entertained. The house is tastefully decorated and welcoming, with enough room for the whole party not to get under each others feet!

We have 42 'Excellent' reviews on Trip Advisor and multiple 'Certificate of Excellence'.

The house can sleep 18 (max of 14 adults) in 9 individually designed bedrooms (2 are children's bedrooms: pirate themed bedroom with bunk beds and twin room with Alice in Wonderland theme). There are 4 high specification bathrooms (2 on the 1st floor and 1 each on the ground and 2nd floor). We have a large kitchen / diner, sitting room, lounge and a formal dining room. The house has a Sky package and WiFi.

Fully equipped for a child friendly holiday we have a games room with air hockey, mini pool table and various games, role play kitchen, lego, dressing up costumes, books, puzzles and toys. Outside there is a great climbing frame, slide, trampoline, table tennis and giant chess. 100 yards away we have the lovely sandy blue flag beach which has won best beach in Britain (trip advisor) and a fabulous village pub within a few minutes walk from the house, overlooking the sea, with a garden and play area for the children.

The village also has an excellent play park and green, crazy golf and the usual seaside ice cream shop and cafes.

Mundesley is perfectly situated on the coast, with short car journeys to larger towns (12 minute drive to Cromer or 10 minutes to North Walsham) and many sights and national trusts within 20/30 minute drive.

PLEASE NOTE THE PRIVATE CHEF IS AT AN ADDITIONAL COST.

Sorry, but we do not accept pets, Stag Parties or all male groups.

Very nice and big house; kitchen was well equipped (enough crockery, cutlery, cooking pans..); nice bathrooms and bedrooms. There were 3 generations on our week long stay and there were plenty of things to do for the children (inside and outside). Location is great as it is very close to the beach which was quite empty when we were there.

Despite the rain and flooded roads on the way, most of us made it to Mundesley on the Friday night and we had a fabulous time. The house was perfect for our family and met everyone’s needs. It was nice to be able to see the sea from our bedroom windows especially when the sun came out, and walks along the beach were amazing along this stretch of the Norfolk coast. We had a small issue when we arrived but this was swiftly dealt with by the owners and didn’t perturb our stay in anyway. We can highly recommended this beautiful house.

This wonderful house was every bit a home for our 3 generation family break. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and individual with coordinating bedding and soft furnishings. The children loved the themed bedrooms, and the playroom downstairs was a big hit from the 2 year old to the 12 year old. Bathrooms are modern and luxurious. Quality towels and some toiletries are provided, making it feel like a hotel. We arrived as the temperature dropped but the house was warm quickly and extremely comfortable. The garden play equipment and the beach toys kept everyone happy. There was everything you could possibly need in the huge family kitchen diner. Plenty of seating for all in the two adjoining lounge areas. Tower House is in the perfect spot for family beach fun and coastal walks. Sunday lunch at The Ship Inn was excellent too. We don't hesitate to recommend Tower House.

We were a multigenerational family of 9 adults and 6 children aged 4 to 11 years The access to the beach was fantastic and the house and garden provided enough for the children to be occupied all week. While they entertained themselves the adults enjoyed socialising in the kitchen The kitchen table was big enough for us all to be seated as did the outside seating. The whole house was well equipped and the only thing that could have enhanced our time would have been the provisions of a few more board games and paper / crayons for the older children on wet days Everyone voted to come again next year

Our family weekend holiday consisted of adults and children from 2 - 85 years of age. Tower House contained everything we could possibly want. The children played in the garden or in the playroom which meant the adults could relax. The kitchen was well supplied. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The garage contained all anyone could require for a day on the beach. The beach is fabulous and a very short walk away. We didn’t use the cars apart from collecting fish and chips from the village chippy which were delicious. We had a drink at the Ship Inn and sat in the garden while the children played. We went to the mini golf which was good fun. Thank you for an amazing holiday.
