A very comfortable stay in the middle of town.

Great location in Port Fairy if you want to leave the car and walk around. A well equipped kitchen for cooking and a very comfy gas log heater for when the days are a bit cold. Upstairs bedroom and bathroom is very spacious and comfortable.

Not a problem for us, but if you dont like going up and down the stairs to the bathroom/toilet it might be an issue. There was a little traffic noise on Gipps street in the morning, but not too early

It was comfortable, clean, and everything had been thought of.

We could not fault the property. Everything we could possibly want was there. The heating was superb and heated the whole house.

Charming cottage

Charming cottage that felt like a home. Plenty of space for 2. Fantastic location, we could walk everywhere.

The only fault I could find was they only supplied earl grey tea - not my favorite!

The location was fantastic, a few minutes from shop, river, beach, market, sports oval, and half an hour drive from Tower Hill and Warrnambool. Although the kitchen was not set up for full cooking of meals, eg in the oven, there were lots of appliances and crockery to manage simple cooking. Heating was effective and immediate. Furniture was very comfortable.

We had 2 nights in this quaint cottage which was extremely clean, comfortable and well maintained.

The location was excellent and the attention to detail with instructions for all appliances was excellent. The cottage was immaculately kept and very clean. The washing machine and gas fire were a bonus.

This is one of the best rental properties we have stayed in. It has style, comfort, location and cleanliness. The extras of kitchen appliances, equipment and facilities are exceptional. Where else would you find freshly ground single origin coffee for your use in the kitchen??

Beautiful stay in a beautiful town

A very comfortable stay. Loved the gas log fire. The location was ideal. Walk to the beach, walk to the shops and off street parking. Free WiFi Even had a washing machine and a dish washer!

Only downside was that the toilet was upstairs but that's only a small negative

Wonderful host, fabulous location and well equipped cottage.

Host was delightful to deal with and very helpful. Fantastic location, wonderful shower, plenty of towels and kitchen utensils, dishwasher and washing machine great! TV had Netflix, heater great once we worked out it had a remote (our fault). Upstairs was spacious and the carpet made it very welcoming. Great that there's an AC unit upstairs. BBQ was good as alternative cooking method. Fabulous that we could bring the furbabies. Very well equipped, love it when little condiments and glad wrap, foil & hand towel are available. Thank you

Unfortunately a dual cab ute was too big to fit in parking area so had to park on street but all good as parking was not an issue. While dog friendly, it would be amazing if the owners closed up the gaps in the front fence or perhaps put a little gate to the back area to be able to just let the dogs out without standing with them? If it was my place, I'd take a few pieces of furniture and ornaments out of the lounge and have side tables for the single chairs. It was a little "too cosy" when we had guests but perfect for just 2 people. Perhaps coming from an apartment, we look for space but this is by no means a negative and just our opinion. Beautiful accommodation, everything was provided and quality finishes.

Delightful, characterful cottage that was very well equipped, clean and in a great location.

It was pleasing that our dog was able to stay with us in such a lovely cottage.

This property like a few others we have recently been to do not provide any breakfast provisions. We were grateful that there was a small container of uht milk in the fridge but would have appreciated some bread and perhaps fruit so that arriving late on a public holiday we would have had the ability to at least have a piece of toast.

Local Gem

Very beautiful place to stay and fully equipped. I loved the bathtub it was amazing, it was a proper bath you could sit and soak in - really deep! The house was close to everything you could possibly need.
