Beautiful views

The location was amazing. I was able to walk each day into the city center. Lots of great food nearby. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and delicious coffee. They have wine on sight that was fabulous to have in the evening. Everyone was very friendly. It was a wonderful stay.

Amazing location with stunning views, excellent breakfast, interesting, historical rooms and parking. Our host was delightful, helpful and engaging.

It was very hot and though I understand the environmental problems with installing air conditioning in such an old and lovely building it would have been good to provide fans. We found the shower a bit cramped for the style of overhead shower fitting.

Was für eine traumhafte und stilvolle Unterkunft, mit unglaublich freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Vom Schlafzimmer guckt man direkt in die Toskana und in Siena Zentrum ist man relativ schnell. Giacomo und Lorenzo sind Gastgeber durch und durch. Wir freuen uns bereits auf den nächsten Besuch

We felt really lucky to have stayed here - it’s ideal.

Fabulous property where you felt as if you were in the Tuscan countryside but were 10 minutes walk from the city walls. The rooms were huge and characterful. The staff were incredibly nice and very helpful and gave us all the information we needed as well as a great breakfast each morning.

The mattress and pillows were firmer than I liked but this was the only issue and it was a minor one!

Easy to be there, hard to leave

The location is an oasis of calm, beautiful gardens and surrounded by olive trees. You can purchase their olive oil at the hotel. The views are stunning and we had the most beautiful room, lovely ceiling frescoes. Easy walk into old Siena, mostly uphill but gentle, regular buses pass by just outside the property if needed. Drinks on the patio watching the swifts swooping above

The best of town and country

The location was perfect for walking into Siena and such a beautiful villa .The staff were so friendly and able to give plenty of good advice .Lovely breakfast and the bedroom was delightful.

the staff, especially Lorenzo, was very attentive and welcoming. he ensured that my husband’s lactose free milk and spread was always available.

Giacomo was the perfect gentleman and host, he made us feel very welcome and shared his love of Siena with some local recommendations. The location was perfect for us to park our car and explore Siena. Our room was comfortable but had lots of character.

The hosts were warm, kind and helpful. They made us feel welcome in Siena. The accommodations were comfortable and the parking was very convenient. The Palazzo is a nice walk to Porta Romana.

Excellent accommodation

This is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. Giacamo and Lorenzo are so very accomodating and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. This is our second visit and we will DEFINITELY be back, great hotel, great views, great rooms and excellent service. This place is a MUST visit.

Views from brunch on balcony are awesome, fantastic staff and great breakfast. very peaceful setting and walking distance to Siena. rooms also very comfy and authentically decorated which is a great vibe! parking and wifi provided. helpful staff 10/10!

This place is an 11/10. We loved it ! You couldn't get more helpful, friendly, kind staff (Giacomo had all the time in the world to help us with planning routes in our car and places for dinner!). The room was ornate and the view out the window ... especially in the morning was divine. The breakfast delicious. Not enough compliments to give! It's about a 10 min walk to the edge of the old town and another 10 to the square but well worth being that little bit outside for the views and calm.

Beautiful place with an amazing staff.

This was my second stay at this place. As before, the staff could not have been any better. The location of the place provides a beautiful terrace with an amazing view. The historical decor of the rooms is quite charming. The breakfast was excellent.

Good location and value. Breakfast staff needs adjustment

The central location, views and room size was very good. The mini bar was a good value. The front desk staff was very good and nice. They gave a lot of helpful tips on where to go locally.

The person managing breakfast was very rude. He yelled at my fiancé for not understanding his tray directions. Then said I was drinking too much espresso and I must be sick in the head. At a loss for words I just agreed with him. He most likely means well, but he should take a different tone and watch some of his language with guests. The rooms are on the older side and some things like our nightstands are falling apart, but some of it is to be expected.

It was great staying in a 17th century villa with an amazing view. But more importantly, Giacomo, the hotel manager, made our trip in Siena super memorable. He was kind, helpful and funny and felt like an old friend. It was clear that every guest loved him and felt his warmth and hospitality. Grazie mille Giacomo, spero civediamo presto! ❤

the staff were so friendly during the whole of our stay. they genuinely wanted us to love Sienna and were happy to recommend good routes for us to take whilst visiting nearby places on our motorcycle. the property is 10 mins walk to the gate de Romana and 5 mins more until the streets are buzzing with cafes and bars. in the morning breakfast on the terrace feels like a world away from the city. delightful.

The hotel is very charming and located very conveniently just outside city walls. It is ideal for travellers arriving with car, and the walk inside the city walls is just 10-15 minutes. Lorenzo and Giacomo were wonderful hosts and unbelievably helpful with restaurants and sights. Breakfast was of good quality and the views from the outside terrace wonderful. Would definitely stay here again, one of the best experiences I've had while traveling!

Lovely stay in a delightful hotel. An oasis of serenity.

Palazzo di Valli is a wonderful base for visiting Siena and the surrounding area. A beautiful old building and only 20 minutes or so walk to the centre of Siena - it is a serene and tranquil oasis. The grounds are delightful, and the bonus of parking on site much appreciated. We used the bus to get to the centre of Siena and that was an excellent service, very punctual and easy. Beautiful views over the valley from the terrace and our room. An excellent breakfast on the terrace was a lovely start to the day. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The hosts Giacomo and Lorenzo are very helpful and informative. We dealt mainly with Giacomo - a very kind man and an absolute gentleman. We loved our stay at Palazzo di Valli and will hopefully return in the near future.
