The view from the apartman is exceptional! The staff was kind and helpful! Possibilities for biking, boating, doing SUP.
Fluctuating water supply, lack of TV services, frequently smell of sewerage.
Breakfast is terrible due to small tableware and 3 available desk inside for 8 families (and few more outside on the direct sun).

To be honest, I wanted to write a detailed review, because what I have read on this site is partially no longer true (about old rooms etc.). I spent three nights in this hotel and this is what I can say
- The room that I got was definitely renovated. There were no spiders, no old trash, and the bed was clean. It was a small but very nice room. The only old part to the room was the closet, but it wasn't bad either.
The mattress was great, the pillow...let's call it too soft in my opinion.
The TV worked great, the wifi was great, I felt very comfortable)
The room has a safe and a refrigerator (empty). The fridge is very small.
Noise isolation in the room is fine. Yes, there is a train across the street and if you listen VERY hard, you can hear the neighbors. It didn't bother me, I had a great night's sleep.
- The hotel grounds are the best part of the hotel, it's true. Incredibly pleasant courtyard with sun beds, tables and access to the lake. The hot tub is free, I can't say it seemed dirty)
Personally, quiet was very important to me, and since the hotel is far from Siofok center, I was happy. There is a small city beach nearby, a little further away there is a paid beach.
- Breakfast. Yes, it is not varied, but for me quite enough. The usual English breakfast. The breakfast area itself is small and you may have to sit at the same table with the other residents, but I don't see that as a problem.
- Staff. Above all praise. Nice girl from the reception - I sincerely hope you get a bonus for your friendliness, you deserve it. Very friendly and unobtrusive.
In summary, I can say that as a guesthouse it is wonderful.
I can say that the bathroom was clean and very nice, but the cleaning lady forgot to wipe off the drips on the shower door. Considering everything else in the bathroom was very clean, I think she was just tired)
The only thing that really bothered me was the air conditioning. It is floor standing and I didn't notice the outside of the air conditioner (maybe I just didn't saw it? :). I tried to turn it on at a cool temperature, it was... badly. Since the weather was very comfortable, it didn't bother me, rather I was thinking about whether to go back to this hotel in July and the possibility of being without air conditioning made me confused.
I confess, I do not trust air conditioners without an outside unit).
- Parking. My car is pretty small and I didn't feel a problem with parking, but for larger cars it can be a whole quest to park.

the outdoor area and the lake view was nice
small bed, very simple equipments in the room, half of the lamps were not working, rust stained towels, dirty soap dispenser, disturbing noise of the train.
Lack if staff: 1 person had to serve the dinner, do the check-ins, the check-outs, organising the payments, introduce the facility, show around and show me my room (could not make it, just explained where can I find it) and manage the jakuzzi timetable at the same time which created chaos.
The team was unable to organise and pack breakfast for the 2 days I had to leave early, nor they offered a discount for that, despite the fact that I chose this apartment precisely because breakfast was included in the price.

Great place to stay if you are planing to visit Balaton! Perfect view, very good equipment and possibility to use bbq, sauna and jacuzzi :) Very good breakfast and nice staff! We will defenitely come back one day!

the room wasn’t cleaned properly, the towels are worn out, the mattress was uncomfortably soft, internet was bad the in the evening there were no internet, we called the number they provided to get them look into it, but no one picked!
don’t get fooled with ( breakfast included) the breakfast gotta be the most mediocre breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel.

It was amazing location,,beautiful view,friendly people
It was not maintained enough how was presented on the pictures.
This place need big investment and cleaning in order to reach 4 stars
It was a girl who went around pretending to clean but rooms was fillty and full of spiders.
We are not in general fussy but this was overpriced for this conditions.
I would like to come back but need a big improvement.
It's really sad to leave this place this dirty as having so big potential.

Natural, panorama view and bicycles
We paid 370€ per night for LUX apartment.
1. House was not clean. Nobody come us to clean, we
used same towels each day.
2. Doors to bathroom was broken.
3. The beach and enter to lake was dirty, ducks and
another birds were swimming, a lot of hackles and
seaweed in enter of lake.
4. From 2nd day something happen with siren and it
was turn on time by time, make all guests confused and
stressed.
5. Kitchen/breakfast room was small, and when all 3-4
families came there, somebody need to wait when
another’s finish.
6. House have entrance ONLY for cars, for using by
people need to open gate.
8. The room does not have a drink water.
7. Personal never suggest something and ask about
how do we feel.

The staff was nice and the location really good
One of the reasons I picked this hotel was that it had air conditioner but the one in my one was not working and the room was really hot which made my stay not be confortable

- room wasn’t available which we booked and was advertised, it was smaller and had 2 beds instead of 3
- they were fully booked and couldn’t have gave us the room which we reserved and informed us that they have no more extra bed left
- the place was advertised as a four star, and after googled it says that it is a four star hotel
- the pictures on the website and on the booking.com are different from what you actually get
- contacted booking.com to we would like to leave the place immediately before we spent time here as this is not what we booked
- RM gave us a call and said that we must pay the full cancellation fee which is the same as the total price of the booking if we leave
- we stated that this is completely unfair as we have planned to stay and showed up but they were unable to provide the accommodation we booked for. They said only they can do that from the following day we can swap room for another one which has 3 beds which we booked originally.
- The room we moved to on the following day was clearly not 4 star stander.
- We took pictures to proof that the place was not clean and had hazardous chemicals left on the desk end had dead insects left on the floor.
- Also, the floor was dirty especially under the bed and on the headboard
- The kitchen doors are damaged and hanging off
- We stayed as we were threatened that we have to pay the full price anyway but we spent the least time at the accommodation and didn’t use any of the facilities at the whole time.
- We are very disappointed that we had to stay in these conditions and fell for a false advertising

The place was amazing (we had the "penthouse") tasteful designed, with a lot of place to accommodate a big family, fully equipped kitchen and a great terrace (including a grill) with direkt view to the lake. We also booked one hour in the jacuzzi which was a great idea. The place offers very good value for money. The personal is also very helpful.
P. S. Even though I've red some reviews that the train that is in the area is loud it didn't bother me at all.
Everything was great with the accommodation. In the area some of the leasure activity were closed, maybe some of the places didn't survive the 2 years of Lockdowns but this has nothing to do with the accommodation.

Bicycles
This is not a hotel not even 2*. It is more of apartments that are not well maintained. The rooms weren’t clean and there is no amenities.
Manager was aware to the problems in the rooms maintenance but didn’t care much.
The lake shore is a bit of walk since the place’s lake side is more for kayaks.
Most rooms are with a window to the rail and a door to the “breakfast hall”. So there is a LOT of noise.
The breakfast is very minimal and when the place is a bit full there is no space for people to seat or take coffee and food.
Breakfast starts only at 8:30.
Our 4 adults + baby room was with bunk beds so we had to add extra ( even due we wrote that in advance) and move to the ‘penthouse’ room which is big but has the same problems.

The private jacuzzi and the views are really the great points about this place. The staff is also lovely and helpful
Probably ours was not the fanciest room booked, for the price we payed, I would’ve expected something more comfortable and cleaner. The towels are rather old, there were bugs in our room and breakfast facilities were not the most exceptional. We’ve stayed in places around Balaton at lower price and higher quality. Not sure if the 4 stars are justifiable.

Good location between Sòstò beach and Siòfok, the staff is lovely and we could use the kayaks, bikes and paddle boards. Delicious breakfast buffet provided by a passionate local lady.
There was only a one room apartment, so me and my boyfriend had to sleep with his parents in the same room. The water in the jacuzzi smelt bad, we preferred the lake. It was difficult to park in the car park.

Friendly and helpful stuff, jacuzzi can be used technically 24/7 (garden), great, clean and well equipped room. Beachfront hotel.
Just small things like, no shower gel for shower, for me the breakfast start 9:30 is bit late (this just for me, not a big deal)

The private beach was lovely and the staff was very friendly! We loved the jacuzzi that looked right onto the water and the free kayaks that we could use anytime during our stay! There was a little kitchenette in the room, which was very useful when we didn't feel like going to a restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again!
