Great place and lovely staff

Beautiful location … loved sitting having breakfast facing the ocean. Staff lovely and helpful. It was very quiet when we were there so felt we were constantly being asked if we wanted a drink or breakfast or anything. I think it was a bit over priced for low season. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Felt safe in the tuk tuks they got for us …. But one of the tuk tuk drivers then text my daughter telling her he loved her…. So when they ask for your number to make sure they pick you up… beware! Turtle point is where you’re supposed to see turtles …. But visibility terrible and not many turtles guaranteed. It was a relaxing stay and we went to two good restaurants for dinner they recommended.

Phenomenal. Hope to stay again!

The staff were amazing, the food was incredible- we could have ordered the seafood plates again and again. Normally you are left alone but the staff were so friendly. One of the owners and the front of house staff Came to personally speak to us and took a genuine interest in where we were from. The villas are fantastic and the ocean signature suite was very special.

Honeymoon

We stayed here for 5 nights has part of our honeymoon, flying from the Maldives so our expectations were high after visiting an amazing place. All I have to say is WOW!!! this place was stunning, from the moment we arrived until we left we were treated like king & queen and my little girl a princess. We couldn’t thank all staff enough for everything they did to make our stay so enjoyable. We didn’t want to leave neither did my little girl especially leaving the dog kinky. If your thinking of staying here I would highly recommend, would defiantly want to come back!

Luxury 5 star experience

Overall this was one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Sri Lanka and the staff service really completed this experience. Our room was even nicer than we expected. The shower especially felt luxiours and the room was turned down twice a day which kept it spotless. The hotel was a great place for a romantic stay as it is secluded, with a quiet and beautiful beach. Food at the restaurant is served by the beachfront. We ate a couple of times in the evening and enjoyed it very much. Breakfast also was a treat, including good press coffee which can be hard to find. A special mention for the pool, which is much longer than typical and well maintained. The staff especially were wonderful and really made our stay feel special. Service was professional and very attentive yet the staff were still able to remain friendly. The hotel manger was helpful with any requests we had.

Almost perfect. The room could maybe benefit from a mini fridge or tea/coffee making facilities.

We had the most pleasant stay

The hotel and pool were amazing. The room was beautiful and we got an upgrade too. The service and the foot was outstanding. Would highly recommend this place.

Never stay here

Hotel is well built however poor amenities such as no mini bar. instant coffee in the room, food below par and in my case inedible. same with the cocktails. No direct beach access contrary to advertising, massive concrete wave break - very rough surf.

Food and beverage staff leave a lot to be desired - 45 minutes for breakfast. Breakfast is included in every establishment; even in a the Suite at $550 per night at this place, it was extra and not great. Room More expensive than the Marriot by $100 per night - far inferior property to the Marriot which has direct beach and amazing food. Same price as Anantara Tangalle - no comparison whatsoever/ light years away in similitude. I disliked intensely this place and we left happily without a refund of 2 nights left. Would never recommend it. Only dud property in a 2 week holiday in a usually fabulous Sri Lanka.

The hotel is located away from the noisy life of Merissa, for those who need a secluded vacation in a beautiful place, empty beaches with palm trees and deep ocean. We really liked the 45 meter pool - we could continue our swimming training. Very stylish and beautiful territory, great garden with lotuses. Breakfasts and dinners overlooking the ocean.

Beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional service

The attentive staff - Ruwan, Sandun and Nishanta went out their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The pool was lovely and perfect for taking a cooling dip - plus a great view of the sea. We really liked the separate villas and boutique feel of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean - the bathroom in particular was amazing. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a chilled escape in the sunshine.

Sri Lanka just opened and this resort is ready!

Staff dedicated to customers and ensure they have nice experience. We literally could ask anything at any time and everything was not a problem for off-menu or on-menu. Rooms amazing and well kept, with restrum areas more looking like SPA. Quality of food exceptional- anything from breakfast to Cocktails

Activities outside still challenging with Sri Lanka regulation around 5 days quarantine, test results and other restrictions. So many potential activities were actually not available

The staff were very friendly and accommodating . The rooms were well equipped and beautifully furnished. The location was amazing in terms of beach front but a bit of a walk to get into the center. The property was clean and super comfortable. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

Piece of paradise

Fantastic couple of nights, photos don't do it justice IMO. Staff, in particular Marcy, made our stay very enjoyable. Lovely pool, with good set up for lounging, 8am yoga on the beach with a lovely french instructor, all round great experience. Food was of a high standard, with good mix to the menu, with Mirissa only a short distance away if you want to mix things up, as we did.
