Perfect location for a quick vacation!

There was a leak on my sink that caused water to accumulate below the sink. Obviously, the building is still under renovation so they may fix this. The shower handle also comes off. Again, still under renovation. But the location is great! Everything is accessible on St. Catherine St. Food, shops, bars etc.

The room could have a better shade so one can sleep. It is too bright when the sun comes up. They should add blinds that could make the room darker in the morning when the guest wants to rest some more.

La ubicacion y el personal de recepción muy amable

No se puede dormir, hay demasiado ruido. Estuve en la habitación 111 y hay un pasillo externo donde la gente está bebiendo y drogado y obvio con mucho ruido. Por otra parte es la última habitación que da a la entrada de los elevadores, se escucha muy fuerte tanto los pasos como las voces de toda la gente que regularmente son jóvenes. Entran y salen de madrugada. Por desgracia me tocó presenciar la madrugada del día 4 de noviembre una mujer gritando incoherencias a las 3am y duro mucho tiempo el espectáculo sin que nadie del personal acudiera. Para concluir la lamentable experiencia vi un ratón en la habitación cuando estaba por hacer check-out, de haber sabido antes esto no hubiera podido alojarme ahí. Cero recomendable

Bad hygiene

I found a mouse in my room.

The property refused to refund me even though I called the attention to the staff. They said they had no other room and the janitor was not around to find the mice. I had to sleep over at a friends place as I was scared of the mice crawling on me at night or feeding on my stuff

Clean and quiet

Friendly staff, very clean, quiet. Room had a bar fridge and a microwave. Centrally located between Old Montreal, the Olympic district and Little Italy.

We had a King room, it was a bit squishy. Other rooms looked more roomy.

Not breakfast included, just snaks included

They say breakfast is included, but this is kind of deceitful. What they do is they give away wrapped cookies , wrapped cheese and yogurts, as well as toasts with jam. The spoon of the jam jarr is shared between all guests. All the breakfast stuff must be esten in the room or standing in the hall. Theres no chairs or tables to est the breakfast

Spacious and clean room for good price

Spacious and clean room. We were surprised to see our room had 2 bathrooms which was nice considereing we were two couples. Room also had a large fridge and tons of storage space. Beds were comfortable and clean, would totally recommend staying here.

Great location, great staff, comfortable bed and very good A/C unit. The room is spacious and they offer a daily breakfast in the lobby. You can tell that the building and the facilities are old, but newly renovated, however that is not anything that affected our stay at all.

Nice staff, just be prepared for it to be dirty/bring extra towels.

Close to all things for comfort, IGA, SAQ, SADQ, Jean Coutu, various restaurants, and a dollarama for cheap things. Staff was very friendly but it was quite dirty.

Didn’t change the towels or do housekeeping our whole 4 night stay. Had to steal clean towels from the hallways, and buy some near by.

Good basic accommodations!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and made for a better stay. The breakfast was minimal, but the coffee was good and available 24/7.

We were not informed about the procedures for housekeeping, and so were left asking at the front desk for extra towels and trash pickup. There were no towel racks in the room, the sink needed cleaning, and the window shade was difficult to manipulate.

Great location

There is no elevator to the 4th floor, which is still under renovation. The room isn't finished and tge first room we had the plumbing wasn't connected properly. We were given a second room which we didn't notice until the morning had dirty sheets with blood on them. Not period blood, not murder blood, but like someone had a terrible rash. If we get monkey pox, this will be why.

This place just does the job, a roof over your head. That is it. Nothing special about it.

Location is the biggest and probably the only advantage.

First of all, my booking had breakfast included, only to arrive there and be told the hotel doesn't offer food so more money spent on food. Second on day 2 i get a call from reception saying that she has bad news for me and that she miscalculated our bill and that we owe them more money than expected. I showed her my reservation done months ago through booking.com and that she did charge us the right value. They basically tried to get more money out of us and then the hotel clerk said her manager will be here shortly and will be talking to me. No manager showed up and no apology was said either. Thirdly, we get a knock on our door on day 3 asking/accusing us of smoking marijuana in the room which we clearly did not. He explained that is suspicious of a smell and is trying to find out which room. No apology was said to us even. Forth, room/cleaning service was very poor. We basically had to ask for towels and keep our room clean as much as we can till we left.

A little hidden gem in the rough

The bed was really comfortable. The shower had multiple functions like spray from the side or rain from the top or a water fall from the top also your regular handheld. Smart TV in the room. Microwave and mini fridge as well. The lights I'm the room has diming effect which was great! Ac was easy to control. Location was fantastic. 5 mins walk to the station or multiple bus routes even bus to airport. It's 25mins walking from train station. 15 mins walking to Chinatown. There is a IGA, SHOPPERS DRUGMART, DOLLARAMA, MCDONALD'S ect nearby walking distance.

A deposit of $250... I never had to with all the hotels or hostels I ever been to and $250 is a lot if they forget to cancel that transaction. The room was smaller than expected. The beds are small as well. If I were to roll or turn my body I would fall right off. We had to push both our bed together so we don't fall. The bathtub looks a bit old and stained. The amenities try was really dusty. The housekeeper never came into clean the room. Our garage can was full and we ran out of tissue. The TV is a bit weird tho. There was often other people from other room trying connect there own devices onto our tv. So it feels like one of those horror films when TV have its own mind. Mini fridge has no temperature setting so it wasn't really cold enough. The hotel has no ice machines nor food outlet. The hallways needs some more renovations. The front door entrance to the hotel was hard to manage with luggage.

very nice inner renovation, rooms inside are practically brand new, comfortable. freindly and helpful staff

sound from the corridor and other rooms travels a bit too freely. addition of one dish or glas that could be put in the micro to make e.g. tee would be nice.
