Very comfortable, great location near the harbour

Easy and affordable

Good location, easy walking distance to the port and main streets. Bed was very comfortable. We had a basic guest room and the initial room had a small Queen. We asked at reception of a King room was available and fortunately it was. The layout of the room was much better and the bed was fantastic.

It’s an older style motel so be prepared, the bathroom is outdated with the shower over the bath. The decor is also very outdated - it adds to it’s charm or will put you off. Other issue was we were asked to pay an additional $100CAD in taxes at the property. This was after we paid the booking.com amount on check in, which states all taxes are covered.

Very good

I got upgraded to a King Suite, it was like a large apartment. Also enjoyed doing laundry on site.

Excessive parking price per night. Was not aware of the cost when I booked, so was a bit surprised. I was disappointed that I could not use the sauna, due to being at a Conference late into the wee hours.

Very nice quiet hotel, loved the underground parking. Everything was very clean.

Rooms were very clean, beds were comfy, location was great for hiking downtown, staff were friendly. Rooms were quiet and we loved having a kitchenette!

There was no air conditioning so it was hot in the room during the two last hot days we were there. Fans were in the room but usually we don't like fans blowing on us when we sleep. It made for a stuffy, hot environment. It was a good thing the windows could stay open for early morning cooling, we kept the room dark with the curtains closed. This helped! For the price of the rooms, I'm surprised they also charged for an additional fee for parking.

Perfect base to explore the city

Location was perfect for a first visit to Victoria. Loads of the sights in walking distance. Loved the 2 block walk from the Clipper. They kept our bags for when we could check in and after we checked out but before the Clipper left. Older property so rooms are larger and offer space to relax. Clean and functional.

We didn't go down stairs and discover all the options offered by the hotel until we were leaving.

Great location, great property at a great price. I'd stay there again.

Location is great. Property was clean, well maintained and cared for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.

The room was a little warm and I don't think they have air conditioning, however, they did have fans and windows that opened. There was no microwave in the room.

We enjoyed our time, loved the comforts offered and would definitely stay again.

The location was ideal, the property and rooms were well-kept and clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the amenities (games, pool facilities and sauna) were appreciated.

There was a funny super-imposed image on the tv screen that interrupted viewing for half an hour or so.

It wasn’t exceptional and now I smell like an old person

The place is very convenient. Easy to park and nice propriety.

The scent is the first thing you smell. It smells like an old church basement or a retirement home. And the walls are so thin I could here my neighbour snoring and having a very heated argument over the phone.

It was only one night, but I will be back.

Very close to the harbour and ferries. Nice quiet neighborhood. Fantastic area to go for a walk. I was upgraded to a suite with separate bedroom, a well furnished living room and a full kitchen. I did not check, but iI bet the couch was a hide a bed. I was a,one but it would be great for a family.

We enjoyed our two nights there! we were happy with the cleanness and walking distance to Victoria’s Harbour area. Sadly

very close to downtown Victoria, clean and big room. The pool was a nice surprise

Good value

Very convenient location. Room is spacious. Staff is kind enough to satisfy my extra pillow request. The room is also very quiet. Thank you very much.
