I would stay at this hotel again

I really loved the heated pool and hot tub. I appreciated having the fridge in my room as well.

The thermostat was broken and there was a portable air conditioning unit in my room that wouldn’t work. It got so hot in our room that I had to call the front desk. Our thermostat was stuck on heat and when the maintenance man shut the heat off and got the air conditioner running, it was hard to sleep because it kept making a loud puttering sound. Also, the price charged to my card was more than what I’d booked it for.

Unfortunately we found the pull out couch really old. Didn’t not have extra duvet for bed. Also unless you stay for more than 4 night they don’t come in to clean. Also we found bed bugs. On our second night. The staff were very helpful.

Residence Inn - Marriott Whitby

The property is easily accessible off of main highway (401). The location to the Whitby Go Station is excellent to take into Toronto. It is a quick 2 min drive over the 401 Highway. Couple restaurants near by for food, otherwise the suites have cooking facilities to do your own meals. On site pool for the kids. Breakfast buffet with standard breakfast fare. Depending on time, it can be crowded. Different arrangements of chairs at tables makes it awkward to eat ie: no backs, low slung/deep cushioning. Kids had to kneel on the seats to eat breakfast. The curtains are great for blocking out any ambient street lighting. Staffing was friendly.

Although clean, the room has been trampled. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this site. First time was on my own and 2nd/3rd was with family. Each time there was a broken toilet paper holder in the washroom. The door handle to the washroom on 2 of the visits had been replaced with something smaller as though they were previously broken. This last time the door wouldn't secure in any shape or form. The pull out bed was atrocious and has seen better days. My 8 year old chose to sleep on the hard floor the first night and then the couch cushions the second. Springs felt everywhere. An oversight possibly, but I was double charged for the stay. Upon check in reception acknowledge payment through Booking.com. My departure bill showed that they charged my card a second time. It was retracted but they wouldn't provide an updated receipt, they just said the charge was reversed and to watch for it on my statement.

Great stay

Comfortable and clean place to stay. It had everything we needed for our four night stay. I loved that we could cook our own meals if we wanted. Great breakfast options !

The TV was a little slow, and I couldn't hook up our gaming system. The heat was hard to control. It was either too hot or cool.And the bathroom sink wasn't in the bathroom it was outside. The bed was a little small.

Exceptional

We loved everything!! As a couple we don't live alone at the moment so this is an amazing suite to be on our own for a few days and enjoy the time alone. We also love that we were able to plug in a HDMI port and stream our movies from the laptop. We haven't encountered a hotel that let us do that yet. The rates were much cheaper than booking in Toronto and we get a whole suite, not just a room. We will definitely book here again!!!

your hotel is the best we have stayed in. We did not stay for breakfast, We have never been happy with food at any hotel so we just left without even checking your food. Went to a local restaurant

Very good

The staff are accomodating and friendly. Fast action when i need to fix some disfunction inside the bathroom and sink. The food is fine. The room with stove, microwave and fridge was great. The gym is small but it is fine also. The place is situated with some fastfood and easily to find in the map.

Our first night i didn't like it the sink is stagnant, the bathroom door or doorknob is not proper locking. They fixed but still it not locked properly . The full out bed doesn't have a good support for our back. The cushion is flat and we have back pain afterwards. 😫 The laundry is so hot 🔥.
