The staff seemed helpful enough, but the room could you some care

Not much

First off, I had no remote for the tv, went to front desk and they brought me a new one that only changed channels, could not turn off or adjust volume. There was no soap in bathroom. The heat was on full blast but room was freezing all night. Blankets were very thin and full of static. The curtains did not cover the whole window, both sides were left open a bit so anyone walking by could clearly see in. No coffee makers or microwave in room. Coffee at front desk was a kurig machine but only had a refillable pod, no coffee whitener. Had to ask for milk and staff went and got some. No "do not disturb" sign for door, but was not disturbed. No alarm clock in room. No table or desk neither. No pen or paper to write things on.

The desk clerk was extremely nice, helpful and smiling. She left me with good enough impression to give this place another chance when I go back to Sudbury.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. There was no coffee offered in the morning. I understand they are renovating but a coffee station is not hard nor is it expensive to setup.

Would definitely be back in future.

Very friendly staff both checking in and at check out. Although showing its age a bit (the place is currently being updated which is awesome!), the room/bathroom were spotlessly clean.

Wasn’t the most comfortable mattress/pillow combination.

there was no coffee in the room no coffee in the lobby, not a lot of places to have breakfast , all this should be included on your website no phone in the room, small bath towels. difficult getting hold of staff, will never stay there again!!

An act of desperation due to last minute stay. Wouldn’t stay again.

Location was good, staff was friendly. The hotel looks like it’s been renovated but a lot of work still to do. The view from our room was actually quite nice.

The whole place smelled like stale cigarettes. Otherwise clean but pretty run down. Some rooms were rented to permanent guests.

Quiet nights sleep

Anita was delightful. We received complimentary water and she brought me to the room. The room was very quiet, didn't hear anyone in the halls. The air conditioner stays on continuously which was wonderful for a great sleep. The room was clean. Good value.

Updates are required to the rooms, carpet removal and bathroom. I have read under new management, so I imagine renovations are in the future. Paid $25 extra when I arrived for the dog, which is fine, thought readers should know the amount.

not pleasant even hallways were in bad order

No food offered prob wouldn’t have ate it anyways never seen anyone at front desk since I chased someone down during check in

Tv never worked at all went to front desk could not find anyone around. Next morning I left note saying that tv was broke came back that night from being in truck school all day the room hadn’t been cleaned or beds made . First motel I have ever stayed st that hadn’t done made service .

no staff wearing masks, no one at the front desk, no coffee maker in room. the parking lot is a disaster, back side rooms look like a flop house, shopping carts lying around

Very outdated and smelly

The fridge is large for a hotel room. Location is great. 2 minutes from a Tim Hortons.

It smelled like smoke, badly. There's a lot of work to get this hotel up to anyone's standards. Bed was hard. Huge stains on carpets and coverlet, chipped paint, and thin towels.

It was great that we could bring our puppy. This is one of very few places from Manitoulin Island to Sudbury that is per friendly.

Easy to find off the freeway. Quiet location

A/C didn’t work on a hot night. Room still smelled of stale cigarette smoke in a requested non-smoking room. No restaurant or coffee service. No cup for water.
