We were very disappointed in the condition of the hotel. It is in dire need of repair. Beds were very uncomfortable , curtains falling off wall and carpets very old and dirty.

Continental breakfast good items for children. Check out is 12 unlike most places being 11am.

Needs some serious upgrading and repairs. Some staff lack the people skills for working in such setting.

it was very well located, close to restaurants and 10 minutes from some beaches

we had a problem with the bed, as it was a little broken, when we lay down the bed looked like it had a hole, my husband and I realized that the bed support was broken

Cleanliness, bathroom in need of update. Beds with holes, rugs with holes.

Staff were friendly

Room was dingy with carpet stains, an albeit small hole in the bedspread, the bed was not particularly comfortable. The bathroom had scalding water or freezing with no in between, the bathtub handles were rusty and the counter looked like it was yellowing from age. The room smelled strongly of cleaning products, but not nice smelling ones and made me wonder what other smells they were covering. If I wasn’t so tired I likely would not have stayed in the room.

The mattress was hard and may be ready for replacement. I'd have paid a few extra dollars if it was a hot breakfast with bacon and eggs, for instance.

The place was filthy and when we went for breakfast there were 3 slices of white bread, that’s it. We went out for breakfast. The carpet was very dirty and stained.

staff were friendly and helpful and troubleshooted tv problems and heater issue for me.

Filthy room, smell, tv remote did not fully work had to use back of tv, heater knob was off. It felt like I was going to fall through the tub it was soft and decrepit, the drain was full of hair and the water backed up. The bed was old and needs to be replaced. Simple things that don't cost money like cleaning the hair out of the drain in tub are not even tended to.

Hello I checked in around 1:30-2:30 am on April 29th 2023 my check in and check out date was April 28-30 (picture inserted with email) and OMG 😳 in the last 4-5 years of staying there I have never been so disappointed and disgusted as I did on this stay!!! My first room was room 137 and only being there for less than 6hrs my room was just full of little black ants 🐜 and I mean they were everywhere. So staff decided to put me in room 136 and again ants everywhere…. Floors … toilets …. Sink… bathroom…. Under the beds EVERYWHERE… so staff decided to put 4 ant traps 1 in the bathroom 1 under the chair by the window and 2 under the tv stand/dresser. So we left the room to see if the traps would help …. Nope came back around midnight and open the door to a party of ants 🐜 .. I went to the front and requested my full refund back and the woman working called someone and they said no because I paid with a debit card ???? But taking money from a debit card the motel can do?? She asked me to wait for the next guy to come and as I was waiting another group of people came to the front asking if ants 🐜 came with her room as the room was full of ants also?? As I waited a employee named Chris came in and he was extremely rude he’s like I’m only giving a refund for one night not 2 YET I had to deal with ants everywhere on both days. He had no remorse or compassion for anything that was going on. He only reimbursed us half our money and because of the time we left the motel and all motels already booked and only half my refund their wasn’t any rooms available, so after barely no sleep and dealing with ants the whole time through our stay we ended up having to drive 6.5 hrs home from Orillia to timmins. I had to bag all my clothes in garbage bags just incase there was ants in our clothes, we had to throw out an 75$ dog bed and a blanket and my puppies dish bowls.

My friend had a 7am appointment at Orillia Hospital, your Lodge is very close to the Hospital. Greatly appreciated.

First - the walls of the room had some kinda liquid that had been on there for awhile. Suck as pop splatter or something. Second - the track between the bathroom and hall had nails sticking up. I stepped on and almost got all the way into my heel. We had to cover it with a towel. Last but is actually the worse, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and poor quality. We felt every spring of the mattress in our body. We woke up with sore backs due to the sponge and springs of the mattress.

The outside of the hotel looked like very uncared for and the. The people who LIVE in this hotel do not help the situation it looks like a ghetto apartment building
