Better than I expected! They have a tremendous cleaning staff & an excellent price to value ratio.

The location was perfect! And I was genuinely impressed with the cleanliness. This place has great value for its price

Our stay could have been improved with some A/C. We went in the summer time so it was very hot.

The best place in town :)

Location, in the middle of old city but on quiet road. Close to everywhere. Very nice place, clean with all facilities you need. Good breakfast: eggs, fresh fruits, juices, cereals, toast, jam etc. Kind and helpful staff. Comfy beds. Good internet. Highly recommended.

Nice place with decent price

This place has a great location. Stuff is friendly. Comfortable beds with clean linens. Clean shower. A lot of common space.

I would recommend to install shelves near shower cabins.

Très sympathique, très bon petit déjeuner. Très pratique pour visite le centre ville de Québec à petit prix.

Hostel dans son jus, mais avec un certain charme authentique Personnel accueillant et bienveillant Très chouette balade touristique à pied faite par un retraité proposée par l’auberge, j’ai adoré

Tout le monde n’a pas la même notion de propreté, de respect et de bienveillance malheureusement. Les autres personnes hébergées laissaient des cheveux dans les douches ou les lavabos. Elles faisaient beaucoup de bruit le soir, la nuit où tôt le matin L’espace petit déjeuner est plus ou moins propre

Safe and clean

Location is very good. Staffs are all kind. Coffee and foods are good. Room is clean.

In showering room, there are no hooks to hang clothes. There is also no dryer. In the kitchen, the towels to wipe the dishes were wet and not clean. I wanted the staffs to let us know the event on 22 night. I didn't know it and missed it.

Ideal base for city exploration

Perfect location, used as a base for exploring most areas of the city. Lovely spacious and light bedrooms. Great facilities - common rooms, library area, bar, dining room, big kitchen. Good sized lockers. Good room temperature, comfortable bed. Very enjoyable stay here! Definitely recommend

No easy access to charging points on the top bunks.

Great budget accommodation in Quebec

The location is perfect and within walking distance of the train, bus and old city sights. The 8 bed dorm is spacious so if it’s full you’re not in each others way Bathrooms were clean and there’s lots of them Kitchen is well equipped and breakfast is decent Staff are friendly

Have to go all the way downstairs to the kitchen to fill a water bottle Beds are plastic covered with only a sheet on top that won’t stay on and makes you sweat To sign up for the walking tour you choose French or English but one guide does both. Means a lot of standing around. There are other tours that are better

Great place, with beds a bit too firm/thin.

Breakfast could easily include a hot egg scramble and potatoes. The rest was okay and it was clean.

The beds were way too hard, leaving me to toss and turn, and wake up a lot, AND there is no A/C, so the heat (3rd floor) did not help.

Great place to stay in the heart of old Quebec City.

Could not have asked for a better location (although dragging a heavy suitcase uphill from the train station was no joke!) The private room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful despite our terrible attempts at French!

The TV in our room did not seem to be working. When we asked staff about this, there was some complicated thing involving a smartphone app that they weren't sure about that was the only way to get the TV to show programs. This didn't impact our stay too much, but it was a little frustrating and somewhat bizarre. Would have rathered there was no TV, to be honest!

ruined by below experiences

First night changed room at 2am due to faulty heater/aircon. Second day, unauthorised entry and transfer of luggage and everything to another room while we are out. wet and dry clothes put together, toiletries put into zipped bags - horror. personal pillow left in old room, we and recept went into stranger's room without him knowing and sees his laptop and stuff - horror. Still no comment from hotel, I gave feedback before writing this review - simply unprofessional. Please be aware and secure everything in the room.

I didn't like the dormitory bed placement, ideally it should be sticking to the wall, but in my room there was a space between bed and wall, and my earbud fell from that space and it broke. So it kind of turned off my mood because this happened just after I reached.

Amazing. I recommend 100% this hotel.

The location is amazing. It is right in the center of the old town and next to so many restaurant, the parlement, les plaines d’Abraham, etc. It was next to the carnaval de Québec which couldn’t be better. We also had a guided tour of the city from the hotel in french and english.

Great location but rooms can be noisy

Great location and great staff. The hostel offer a lot of things, from walking tours to cafe etc.

The room we had was noisy from water pipes running on the ceiling.

Great location, clean, friendly staff and fun activities.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff and they have different activities like concerts and dancing classes. There's a library and board games. Not sure if we arrived late to breakfast, but there's free food you can take throughout the day.

Beautiful experience

Love: friendly staff, my bedroom the last 2 nights, the location is the best so close to everything , big kitchen and refrigerators.I feel safe all the time.Friendly guests , I have 2 new lovely friends :). Room to do my exercices, they provide me with a yoga mat :)

2 bathroom in the floor were all the time closed, the bathrooms need urgently a renovation in 3rd floor, so we have 1 bath room with 3 showers/toilets for the whole floor . My first bedroom was not as pretty as the second bedroom I received.Some bedrooms have more light and are bigger than others.Wifi in my second bedroom was not working
