Not a bad place based on what it offers for the price we paid.

friendly desk person....my wife asked for help with something....she personally assisted her.....I liked the quiet room for sleeping although unless staff try to book alternate rooms this really is a wild card based on who your neighbour ends up being. I liked the balcony and the view....we paid for the upgrade for bay view...the bed was comfy. I thought the breakfast was pretty good...lots of variety.....no bacon or sausage but I had low expectations anyway that ended up being exceeded in this department.

The indoor pool did not look appealing. first morning I did not like the guy laying laminate flooring down the hall.....from 9 am til when we left at 11am....tap, tap, tap......I have learned to ask in the future wherever I go if there will be renovations happening. Obviously the place is quite dated would be more expensive if updated accordingly.

There was construction with constant knocking above us night and morning,that should have been made clear before we booked, breakfast had no meat items ,i asked the lady at front desk for late check-out only one hour extra because we checked in late she was not interested ,water pressure in shower was non existent no pressure,

Was a decent room for the price but the place needs a ton of work. Start by having sanitizing methods in the gym. Disgus

The location was great

I called to make sure they had electric vehicle charging , was told yes and when we arrived was told they had an outlet in the garage. Huge difference. Also there was no sanitization methods in the gym. Which is horrible. They closed the water slide early because the life guard was too hot.

Not the greatest unless you just want an inexpensive place to sleep and hope that your door doesn’t get kicked in

Busted in doors, had to change rooms because furniture was missing like the couch and the hot tub was broken. Also you can’t use the slide unless there is a lifeguard but there is no schedule for the lifeguard so you have to keep checking if they are there or not which they are not there very often

Run down building.

Room was clean.

Patio door did not seal shut. Wind howling all night. Train outside - noisy Building getting run down. Needs upgrades. Hinges in bathroom - rusty. Needs paint. One door had whole lock unit ripped out - hole left- and left like that locked.

Slept like a baby, clean & comfortable

Comfortable beds, clean room, and lots of towels. Slept extremely well. Front desk staff and the manager are attentive, helpful, and kind. There was a kids hockey team staying in the hotel, and the manager ensured we had a quiet room, much appreciated. I met the cleaning supervisor in the hallway, and thanked her for the cleanliness of the rooms. You could tell she was very proud of the work that is done in this hotel. We had the city side room and the boys loved seeing the trains go by (they weren't loud, and they stop going by around 8pm) overall excellent sleep, excellent hotel.

Location was good. Breakfast was okay. Beds were comfortable.

Signs of water damage that hasn't been repaired. Bad smell in the lobby. Had to ask for soap at the front desk and was told they hadn't received their order. Only one elevator, so always waiting for it. Looks half broken down.

Will not stay there again

Our room had blood stains on the sheets we asked for new sheets and to have our room cleaned and they never did it but left a fitted sheet for us….. Our hallway was very dirty and our room had cobwebs and was not clean properly there was not even a roll of toilet paper on the holder when we arrived

Our room was ok size wise would have liked a queen bed better, pillows (pillows old and need to be replaced as you could smell body odor on them). The patio door was dirty and was in bad shape and hard to open and shut. The real let down was the shower if no tub there should be hoses women really need that to properly clean themselves especially when the water pressure was not good! Also the shower curtain rings were broken and tap leaked in sink, light out on lamp. Our door lock was giving us problems and we had to do it several times to get into our room each time! Air was not great the first night we were hot and no control over thermostat.

Fantastic hotel in budget.

The room keys are so problematic. It often been disabled and they said it happens when we keep the keys near any debit or credit card or telephone.

Breakfast was pretty good but a bit limited. There were bagels and waffles with spread but no toast. Coffee and orange juice were good. Plus, hard boiled eggs.

No frills version. Good for a stopover / night, not more.

Staff is fantastic! They are doing what they can with what they have been given. Location is very convenient. Plenty of parking spots - closed and open both. WiFi was decent as well. Breakfast is basic but don't go in expecting much.

Facilities are dated and not as comfortable. But you get what you pay for. DO NOT book a room with city view. The rooms are not insulated enough. i.e. sound from the road, rail (which is extremely close by), as well as the hotel entrance, was constantly coming in (and we were on the 3rd floor of a 4 storey bldg). In fact, the noise from the external HVAC was constantly on and audible throughout the night. Not sure if the opposite view has HVACs too or not.

I liked the location and the staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable.

The shower looked dirty, meaning, I could see pink residue when you don't clean and there was dirt on the shower wall. The pillows were small.
