Not as Advertised

The staff was extremely friendly.

The lounge and restaurant on site that was advertised online while booking was not even open because of staff shortage. The air conditioner in the room was poorly maintained and made a horrible rattle continuously. No elevator offered to bring luggage upstairs. Vending machine for beverages in lobby was out of order.

A cheap hotel in a good location

It is a reasonably acceptable hotel for a small town; the rooms are large and comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the staff is 24 hours at the front desk; the exercise room is small, and there is no elevator, but if you are only travelling for a short stay or a day, the price is reasonable. It is located close to the city exits and much cheaper than other places in the area or surrounding towns.

I don't know if the hotel has a specific area for smoking, but when we arrived, many people were smoking a few steps from the main entrance and the place reeked of cigarettes; this is a point to take into account since not everyone likes the smell of cigarettes when entering or leaving a hotel especially when you go early in the morning. Within 5 meters from the main entrance, 5 or 6 people smoke cigarettes regardless of whether others smoke.

Good overall, staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good but the dining room was too warm and stuffy.

Pillows were thin and very uncomfortable. The air conditioning was very noisy. Next time I book I will ask for a more accessible room. I walk with a cane and it wasn't easy to take my small luggage upstairs. It would be good to know if accommodations have an elevator.

Basic Needs Meet at Older Building

The staff was friendly and the location was easy to access. The room, although very basic, was comfortable, and there was extra pillows provided. Clean towels and additional personal items available at the front desk, if you forgot anything. The continental breakfast was easy to access and although basic, did have tasty items and decent coffee.

This building is obviously older, with no elevator to the second floor. The bedspread was slightly dirty, and the tv/cable wasn't checked before I arrived to make sure it was working. Standard size main bedroom, although the bathroom is tiny with a very shallow bathtub.

Lots of parking. Clean rooms, friendly staff. overall hotel was good, just not as nice or comfortable as other Days inns that i have stayed at.

There is nothing really close by for food or activity. Nothing walking distance that I found, driving you could go down town and find things but not much to this little town.

The location only

We got a king suite it was nothing like the picture at all. It was so old and not updated. The picture was very deceiving. Free breakfast.....hard boiled eggs, no fruit...eggs were green on the inside.

Probably would stay elsewhere next time.

Staff was helpful. The room was clean. The price of the room was excessive for the quality of the room and age of the hotel.

This hotel was largely used by people doing road work in the area. Lots of trucks. The hotel was quiet after everyone went to work in the morning.

I will not be back to this over priced outdated facility

it was a good location

no restaurant wasn’t allowed in the gym and the rooms are old and outdated with cracked ceilings and poor heating/cooling systems. the tub drain plug was stuck down and couldn’t shower without manually draining the tub yourself when done

not much. shower was great. people nice.

the bedroom, although clean, the one bed was sunken in the middle with a hard edge. Old, worn out carpet, view was their flat roof , bathroom so tiny you could ricochet off the door jam. water too slow to go down sink, was upstairs with no elevator and I’m sure I asked for no stairs. we have been on road for 2 weeks, BIG suitcases and we are seniors.

Typical badly run hotel that is way over priced.

It is located easily to find off the highway.

The seemingly manager was extremely rude and was deceptive about their pet policy with a 'pet surcharge' for a small cat that wasn't mentioned in booking. It seems there are many complaints about this

Superb

Hot breakfast was good. Good variety. Bed was comfortable. Fitness room was good with treadmill, fitness ball & mat, riding bike, and weight lifting machine.

The swimming pool was closed at time we booked. Really was looking forward to hot tub. No reduction on cost because of it

A decent overnight rest

The room was adequate to our needs, the beds comfortable, the bathroom facilities more than adequate, and the "continental" breakfast was sufficient for us, answering to our needs as vegetarians and to my dietary needs as a diabetic.. We were glad to be in a place where we could enjoy fresh air through open windows, the night was quiet.

The room was somewhat stark. Our room overlooked the parking lot and in the early morning hours large trucks and work vehicles started up with some loud chatter of workmen. If there's a next time I will ask to be put on the other side of the building from the parking lot to get an additional hour of sleep.
