Proximity to a concert
Booking.com failed to send property our details or confirm the room. An hour was spent by the hotel trying to locate us. Then was provided a non equivalent room. Property failed to de feather room after confirming they would. At 11 pm at night was told that no staff would be available to locate pillows to sleep on and advised to roll up towels for pillows to avoid severe allergic reactions. Staff were rude and unhelpful except for one night manager who did offer to attempt to locate pillows at midnight. Room was old. Out dated. Was a hospitality suite room with Murphy bed and bedding was frayed and holey. All for 1000/ night.

O otra moneda. Me pareció. Un robo. El hotel está en Chicago. Y su moneda es dólares. El hotel me robo. Más de 90 dólares Y Booking no respondió.

Stadion Soldier Field einigermaßen in Laufweite. Im Hotel alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Bars, Shops usw. Ist zwar etwas älteres Haus, jedoch alles Tip Top sauber
Upgrade Zimmer in Richtung Strasse / Park , jedoch zeitweise Tag und Nacht (!) lautes hupen von den außenliegenden Bahngleisen.

The room was clean. Was able to check in a little early. Staff was polite.
The room was small. Was not worth the 450 for the room and 64 dollars was for parking. We upgraded to an Ada room and larger room. This room was small and cramped was not worth 450. This room was smaller than my bedroom. I will not return for the money and the size of the room.

Location in Chicago downtown
The elevator lobby areas for each floor could be designed to be brighter, add a couple mirrors.

The location, cleanliness and building design are wonderful! We stay here anytime we are in Chicago
We had reserved a King room and this was not provided.

We've got upgraded for a small fee to a Junior suite with a view of the lake, park and Buckingham fountain. We loved it! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a great size and clean. We were nicely surprised to have hot water running from the faucet right away, not 5-10 minutes later. The living room area was nice and spacious.
Also, because we came to Chicago in the morning, we had to wait till check in time at 3pm. It was nice that Hilton offers this service of storing the luggage until you need it. There is a storage room for it downstairs. It was very convenient and very thoughtful for Hilton.
It was way too cold for us and we had to turn off the AC, because there was no AC controller anywhere, which is odd. People have different temperature preferences. There needs to be a way for them to regulate it. Also, the bedroom was too dark, because this huge TV was covering the window. One smaller TV on the wall would be perfect.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is so great. The minor problems we experienced were quickly dealt with by the staff who was very kind and friendly. I read many bad reviews about the parking, but honestly, I had a mid-sized pick-up and navigated it just fine. You just need to take your time. We parked and left the car for your stay and used cabs to get around. It is far more efficient and less stressful than finding and paying for parking everywhere.
Some things were neglected, which I did not expect from a 4-star hotel. There was only one set of towels in the room. No coffee cups, and the coffee maker smelled moldy. The room itself was also small, and the bed was a little to soft for my taste.

The location was great. The room and the bed were very comfortable. The Pub on site was great.
The housekeeping was lacking. The first day it took 3 calls to get the room made up. The second day they never showed up at all and we had to ask for clean towels. By this time, I was in contact with management. The 3rd day, we had to call again to get it made up.

The building itself is beautiful, we loved the architecture and how the lobby and hallways were decorated. It was also very well located by the parts of Chicago we wanted to walk to
I had reserved a superior king room on a top floor, and we received a standard king room. I had also paid extra for air conditioning in the room, and we were not able to adjust the temperature at all, and the room was very warm during our stay. The only view we had was of the building directly next to us.

I did not like being upgraded to have 2 windows in my room at 40.00 per day .

I liked that the pool was open.
The room couldn’t have been cleaned better and there was no shampoo in the bathroom.

Difficult to have our room serviced - two days; hotel buffet breakfast not available most days; Business center difficult to access and use - and it was not free.

We had the oppurtunity to have a upgrade to a room with a view. It was so nice! The location was a perfect spot. You had the view of the park and lake michigan, next to the famous Lou Malnati's, Devil Dawgs and a cute cafe called Luna.
I can say I didnt like anything. My family didnt complain either

We enjoyed the large swimming pool and fitness center. The room had to bathroom which made getting ready easier. The Bell staff was very helpful.
The beds were very uncomfortable and seemed smaller than a queen size as advertised. The ac/heating did not work well and the room was very stuffy. We purchased a room on a high floor hoping for a view but had a view of the properties ac units and the back of the building. You have to make a reservation for the pool and fitness center. We would consistently wait 3-5 min for the elevator and it would always be crowded. Very slow valet.

The Room was clean, comfy beds, view was amazing
Internet was an upcharge, the gym/pool had an upcharge, breakfast was an upcharge. For $257 (for 1 night) i figured that covered the use of basic facilities. La Quinta and other "non luxury" places dont charge for use of on site facilities and breakfast is included.

The hotel itself was lovely, the location superb and the staff was great.
The beds were terrible. After the first night I could not sleep because I hurt so badly. The rooms were small but 'fine'. We had a pretty big ant infestation in the bathroom.

Location
The staff was not on top of things. I checked in around 12 and was told check in would not be until 3 pm (which is fine, we explored the city in the mean time) but the problem was they said I would receive a text “around 3” when the room was available and that I would not need to come back in line to obtain my keys as she gave me my room keys without an assigned room at that point in time. Sure enough, 3 pm rolls around, we still do not have a room and did not receive a text and we’ve been in Chicago since 12 at that point. So, I had to wait in line and talk to the receptionist again to obtain a room and new room keys. Not to mention, other people who got there after us we’re being assigned rooms, so why did we not receive a text for a room, and why did we not get assigned a room until later that day?
The next thing, was the trouble my friend had when she simply asked for a band aid due to her getting hurt that day. The staff was extremely rude and asking her detailed questions in front of people on how she hurt herself (almost as if they didn’t believe her or something) and asked if she was hurt on the property. She replied no and they continued to ask her that same question over and over again. I just have never experienced something like that for simply requesting one band-aid. She then proceeded to ask her “what happened and how did you hurt yourself and why do you need a band-aid” in front of other guests at the hotel that were present and that should not be something a guest needs to explain when it comes to medical care especially in front of other people.
Lastly, upon check out I come down to return my room keys and requested a receipt. The receptionist then tells me they are doing an audit and cannot give out a receipt but will email it to me in the next hour. Sure enough, never got an email with a receipt. So I had to call later that day to have a receipt sent to me.
