I really liked Jesse at the front desk. She was wonderful
The room was so old and outdated. The hot water would literally burn skin right from the sink, that is in the room, not the bathroom. It also came out so forceful, that it splashed me and I had to change.
The room smelled old and musty. The bathtub didn't drain and I had to shower in about 5 inches of my own bathwater which took about an hour to drain.
The breakfast was so skimpy and disappointing. I have actually never stayed somewhere so sketchy. This place needs to be totally overhauled and would benefit from and all ladies area because of how male dominated the patrons were, similar to the Pomeroy in Grande Prairie. Now they have an amazing breakfast, a ladies only section and is updated and clean

Our bed had hairs, body hairs inside the sheets.
The pool area was dingy and dirty, it doesn't look like maintence has been kept up.
The elevators were not working, and a man was stuck inside.

The pool was great kept our kids entertained all day long, The staff was great expecially Myrna (not sure how to spell) ..
There was no hot water the entire time we were there so that sucked.. They did give us a small discount when checked out though ..

Overall it was quiet, kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast is yummy..
Unfortunately. My room was so humid I did not fall asleep until 4am and was up at 8 was frustrating.BUT I was y the pool and it was a rainy day.

Sink was dirty, bed was on a slope, fridge rattled all night long. Not a peaceful sleep at all.

The layout of the building - one entrance and had to zig zag to find the correct elevator and exit.

The beds were very comfortable. They have smoking rooms. Breakfast was included. Your parking spot was by your room and you could enter from the back so very convenient

Upon arrival, the 2 ladies working the reception area were super friendly and knowledgeable. Expedient service and got me checked in with no issues. The hotel itself was super clean, seemed brand new. The room was so comfortable and was well stocked. Parking was close to access hotel entry. Overall, was genuinely nice to check into such a clean, organized and secure hotel. Great location to area restaurants and gas for car tarvelling.

I liked the location and room . It was a nice quiet stay. The staff were very friendly and the staff in the pool area was great to chat with and explained the slides to the kids when they asked questions.
The top blanket had something orange on it . But it was easy enought to just remove the top blanket.

this was the smallest king suite I have ever seen. when you book a suite you pay extra and I was disappointed

The thermostat worked so I could increase the heat in the room. The water pressure of the shower was good. I enjoyed the heat light in the bathroom. The room was fairly clean. The room was spacious which was nice. The TV worked and had a nice selection of channels.
When I first entered the building, there were two people smoking right in front of the front entrance and it made the entrance way smell like smoke. It turned out that one of the people smoking was an employee and they shortly came in as they saw no one was at the desk to check me in.
The hotel has a strange set up, it was a challenge to find the room as it was in a completely different section of the building and past a restaurant. I was instructed to go down the hall and take the elevator to my room. I took the elevator and my room was nowhere to be found. I ended up wondering around for 10 minutes until another guest asked if I was lost and directed me down a long hall and told me to keep walking until the end. I continued walking through a long hallway, past a restaurant, through another hallway and finally found an elevator that took me to the floor where my ro was.
The room was spacious, but could use an update. The bed looked clean but when I untucked the sheets there were big clumps of hair in the sheets and on one of the pillows.
When I went to the continental breakfast, there was no attendant to provide my ticket to so I could enter. Turns out they were right outside the front door smoking and while I was in the food area I saw them going back and forth from cleaning the breakfast area and going outside to smoke and no washing their hands once (I'm a health inspector, so I notice these things). The breakfast options are typical of a continental however after witnessing the attendant not washing their hands, I decided to skip breakfast at the hotel and grab breakfast elsewhere.
