A good place to stay before going off to work

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was a bit firm but like it like that. It was a bit noisy outside with other guests.

The weather was nice and parking was free.

Do you have pets? Go somewhere else. They don't point out how much their pet fee is. Their homepage is not functional, but I doubt that it states there. Once we arrived, they charged 25$ PER dog. 50$ additional/hidden fees for two dogs. HELLO? The room is $70/night and not worth more. This is the most expensive pet charge I have ever been charged. Especially for the subpar rooms, they offer. Once questioned if they would consider dropping or reducing that overpriced pet charge, they just suggested staying somewhere else. Ongoing, we will. And certainly would have if we had known of these hidden horrendous fees.

Bed: Clean and comforatable Room. clean, well suited Quality-price ratio: very good

No coffee in room (understandable given rates) - all OK but ... Coffee in the lobby is instant coffee - does not start the day off too well (lol) The employee asked me to sign a credit card slip -said it belonged to Bookings. First time I am ever asked to do this. So I had questions which were not clearly answered at first. I really did not like it when he said: "you have to trust people". I am not that gullible and found this to be quite bold. On the whole however, a good experience.

Location is very good, surrounded by beautiful mountains and few convenient stores and fast food restaurants within few minutes of walking distance. Also not far from town centre.

Room and bathroom was not very spacious and could be organized better

Location was convenient & motel had most of the comforts of home. Nice mountain views.

Motel had may amenities surrounding it - restaurant, fast food options, gas station etc. Comfortable room - fridge, microwave but no coffee maker.

Coffee was available in the lobby but it was instant.

Overpriced, but so is every hotel in Golden in the summer. It was what we expected, if you want the Fairmont it's not, but it's a good little roadside hotel. Probably better than most
