Incredible location but accommodation is outdated

Beautiful location, access to a lake, very quiet, friendly staff. An excellent place to hang around for a few days. Nice patio with bar/restaurant.

The cabin we stayed in was old and worn out. Putting new furniture in the bedroom and a new couch is not a renovation. Bathroom looked like something from the fifties. Cabin also was not that clean, lots of cobwebs and floors which had not been properly mopped for a long time. Not ok at this pricepoint.

Exceptional

The staff at Bonnie View were friendly and efficient. They couldn't do enough for you. We had a car accident and Bonnie View allowed us to stay for one more night - until the car was repaired. They offered to take us to Minden from Haliburton as soon as we needed them and offered any additional services. We are totally impressed. The staff is like family - just wonderful, warm and caring people.

A very welcoming and authentic getaway especially for families.

Loved the nostalgic feel and how beautifully maintained it is.

The menus could have a little more variety.

Three Grandkids and Grandma had a super time!!

Activities are available for both water and land. Our cottage was clean and well laid out. The staff was so amiable and did everything to make us feel like we are a big family

Bathroom was dated, and all the screens need a very thorough cleaning!

Bonnie weekend at the Bonnie View

Service was very good. Relaxed yet attentive and friendly.

Having to decide between eating by the lake or in the dining room. Both were exceptional choices.

There is so much to do , canoes,kayaks, paddle boats etc..., for water pool table , volleyball, basketball and the list goes on and all comes free with your stay no extra charge. Not to mention the Patio overlooking the Lake. I cannot say enough! The room was clean, bed comfy... quiet there is nothing bad to say.... fantastic!

great location but as we were slightly out of season we were in the way.

lovely setting and the room had good views bed was very comfortable room was a good size

restaurant was closed and we we were asked to book breakfast days in advance ( nearest place was 15 drove away) no veggie options constant maintenance going on from 7:30am

Thank you for the special rate the second night and the upgrade of the room.

Overall the breakfast was good with a very pleasant waitress. They upgraded our room for the first stay, as well as the second stay for the same price. Thank you.

We had a very noisy night we were there due to a group of people playing loud music. We had to call Ryan to come to speak to them. Needless to stay our first night our sleep was broken up. People like that do not respect the area or other guests. The 10:00 p.m. quiet time of the resort needs to be respected by all.

Amazing view, clean facilities, excellent service from the most friendly staff.

I was hoping for the same menu as last year but they have changed it. Food was still good but more of a pub menu.

Loved the Haliburton Highlands area, as well as the hospitality we received at the Bonnie View Inn

Would love to return, but I would go out for meals.

Gorgeous grounds and lovely rooms.Service was great and very tolerant of our large group.

Food was a letdown from years past. I think a new cook is in order. Also more variety on the menu.

Lovely location, great service, rooms a bit dated but a decent stay overall.

Amazing location, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great amenities by the water.

Rooms were dated, took quite some time for them to heat up (baseboard heating is slow), some renos to the rooms would elevate the experience to match the location and service.
