Terrible would never stay at a Hilton anything anymore.

We’re told we could get a early check in if we called at 8:30 am by the gal at the desk the night before. We called they said should be no problem. 3 of us from diff. Cities flying, driving etc. to meet up to cruise the next day. We had all been up since 3 am. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 pm exhausted and ready to chill out and the front desk girl was in the lobby with friends looking at cell phones fooling around laughing etc. turned to me and said can I help you? She wasn’t at the ck in counter. I explained we called for a early check in, she said “absolutely not”!!! Turned from me I said what are we suppose to do for 3 hours after being told we could get our room. She said to go to the outlet mall turned and continue with her friends in the lobby. We left and nothing we could do we had a non refundable reservation. Then we came back at 4 and a new girl was at the desk and told us thats terrible we should of been able to get in our room if we called. She apologized and off we went to our room. To have a huge sounding big dog barking in the room across from us!!!!! Apparently the owner was gone. What an aweful place to stay. The staff, do barking, 2 washcloths for 3 people, etc. never again.

Great location, spacious rooms ideal for families, generous free breakfast.

Loved the room layout for a family of four, with the separate living room area. Loved the free breakfast. Good location for easy visits to historic district.

There was a traveling youth baseball team who overwhelmed the pool area and breakfast area. Kids were also running through the hallways. No big deal, as we have kids, but probably a turn off to other guests trying to eat a quiet breakfast or enjoy the pool.

Lots of $$ for very little zzz's

The staff was nice

The fridge didn't work, the air conditioner was noisy, the smoke detector blinked all night, the other guests were very loud until the early morning and someone banged on ours and every other door at 3am. Almost no sleep was had.

Super clean & friendly employees!

It was super clean, breakfast was excellent & super friendly employees. The bed was extremely comfortable as weĺ!

The housekeeper never came in to clean even though I asked everyday for service. I asked the front desk as well as the housekeeper but the entire 5 days we never received housekeeping service. This is my only complaint.

Price was far too much for the accommodations.

Location

Room that was booked wasn't clean and was moved to another room. Didn't have a two bed room which is what we initially booked. Second room was okay, but not spotless. Some food stains on the wall, stained couch, hair on the bedsheets.

Pleasant!

Location is great, we did not eat breakfast because we left out too early however it smelled delicious! Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet, no noise from outside or other rooms.

convenient to Folly Beach

They forgo to clean the bathroom; I pulled the shower curtain and found a dirty washcloth left from the previous rental. the tub had a black ring around the tub, hair in the bathroom sink. Garbage disposal wasn’t working in the room because there was a foul smell coming from the sink and I tried to put some fish liquid and turn it on. Front desk staff seems over worked.

Breakfast was just "ok"---the scrambled eggs were too overcooked and the bacon & sausages were under cooked.

Exceptional

We had booked somewhere else and could not stay there because it was not clean. So very last minute we booked at Homewood Suites. It was very clean and the staff was excellent. It made our vacation wonderful.

Great place to stay, will definitely recommend.

Staff was friendly and location was perfect just a short drive to any of the activities we had planned. Plantations, historic Charleston and beach. I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely look for Homewood Suites whenever we travel.
