Very disappointed in hotel condition and cleanliness

This hotel needs updating. Rooms were filthy. We left after seeing the condition of our rooms. We tried getting a refund but were told since we booked through booking.com we couldn't get a refund. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again or book through Booking.com.

We're very satisfied.

Breakfast looked great.

Lacked vending machines. After a long day of travel, a little vending machine snack and a drink of choice would be appreciated. Parking was a problem as we were driving a 26' U-Haul.

Quick overnight stay

Easy to book. Clean room and nice staff.

The pool was soooo dirty. It has not been cleaned in quite some time.

We love our Hampton Inns and would stay here again!

Location was great with many restaurants nearby! Hotel and our room was very clean and welcoming! All the desk staff were very friendly and very helpful! Breakfast was very good! Love all the choices of food and beverages for breakfast! Love that they have coffee and tea available all the time!

We had 3 people in our room, 2 full beds, ample sleeping room but the mattresses were not comfortable. We were there 2 nights. We've stayed at Hampton Inns a few times and never had an issue with the beds. Pillows and comforters on the other hand were very nice/comfortable.

Overpriced hotel for extremely small room with uncomfortable bed

Staff was friendly, hotel extremely clean, iron in room was broken but I brought one so it didn't matter. Breakfast was amazing.

Bed was so uncomfortable it felt like I was laying on a brick. All the power outlets didn't work. The room was extremely smaller than what I was expecting for what we paid. $187 is alot and just not worth it. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn with the same room, it was absolutely beautiful, the room was amazing, big and that bed there so comfortable and we paid maybe $100. This hotel needs to update to match them. Go to Hilton Garden.. Not here.

Never Again. It is hit and miss

Staff was nice.

I have another rating of this place saying its a 10 and very clean. I stayed literally one week later and it was anything but. The way to our room was dirty, the elevator was nasty, our shower curtain had blood on it. Our beds was very hard and I had major back pain the first time in my entire life. There was a dead rat right out in the parking lot when we arrived. I know what you're thinking...should have left. I wanted to but we got here very late and nothing else was available to us without loosing our money. We slept in beds that were seemingly clean and had new sheets and left.

Pleasantly Surprised

If you're like me and read all the reviews after booking (🤦) then read this one...the reviews can give you some mixed feelings on the site. The front desk workers were so kind. The room was clean and didn't smell werid at all. The hallways were clean, but a little dim (if that matters to you). The pool looked clean, but we only stayed one night and it was late so we didn't use it. I didn't look at the gym so no input there. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had for a ordinary hotel. And lastly, the coffee was delicious. It right in the center of everything as well in the town as well. Very pleased 😄

My family liked it all.

It was clean friendly staff and if we drive to the panhandle again, will plan to stay there.

It was satisfactory for type of meal one would expect for getting back on road to travel on to Sandestin fla.

without knowing to location of the Decatur Alabama Hampton inn when driving on a southerly route, it was hard to find in regard to the first exit off I-65 going south.
