My go to hotel in Jax, but...

The location is excellent, breakfast was different each of the 3 days I stayed and was good. The room was well equipped if I had wanted to cook, I could have. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

There was a strong smell in the room. Less noticable when I'd been in the room for a while, but I could never pin point what it was. Friends thought it was a chemical cleaning smell, I thought it was an earthy/moldy smell. BUT I never saw mold anywhere. I'd have liked more pillows and it may be time to replace the pillows. The bathroom and kitchen lighting were very dim. Probably just needed new bulbs.

NO OUTSIDE CAMERAS. Vehicle was involved in a hit and run in the parking area. Contacted police but nothing that they could do other than a report. For the money and location, surely they would have had outside security cameras

The handicap shower would not shut off completely so continuous dripping. Staff aware and discount was given.

Homewood Suites by Hilton/St. Johns Town is our family's MOST desired place to stay.

The accomodations were excellent. The hotel is quiet, clean, and in the desirable St. Johns Town Center. This is the ONLY hotel that my family and I will stay at when we are in town for my mother's doctors appointments.

I was overcharged for my stay. When I spoke nicely with the attendant, Andre'?? about it during check-in, he was rude, defensive, condescending, and argumentative for no apparent reason. We all make mistakes, but it appeared as if my pointing out his error, he felt that I was making a personal attack on him. He was NOT professional at all. After my family's stay, the manager promptly corrected the error, without delay, in a kind, courteous, and professional manner .

Overall, a very pleasant stay in a great location for why we were in Jax. A do over for sure.

All was well. Convenient and room was comfortable.

Curtains were hung over the air conditioning unit. Had to pull them up and tuck them so as not to block the air flow.

The first floor was under construction and we didn't even have the stairs available for use. construction went on till 11:15 pm on a Sunday till I finally called to say when it would end so I can get some sleep? they stopped shortly afterwards. I was on the 2nd floor and could hear all the sounds of construction.

Housekeeping were very pleasant and helpful.

The first room we were given was under construction when we walked in. Housekeeping helped and said that the front desk was notified that this suite was not ready at the time of check in. We had to move in to a new room. This room was ready, however there was still a dirty towel hanging on the shower. I really hope it was cleaned well. The lights in the bathroom flickered all night long.

The staff was super nice and inviting. The place was quiet and in the perfect shopping location.

What I didn't like was the price. Even though I love the location, my room was too small to be $200. But I understand that prices have gone up on everything.

Loved our stay, great breakfast and staff.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were great. Great breakfast. Terrific fresh fruit every morning. Husband loved the meats and eggs. Nice variety of foods at breakfast. They are redoing all the rooms. We were in the older rooms, which were great. Looking forward to seeing the new rooms.

Very busy location. Great for those wanting to shop and eat out. Unfortunately we found a less traffic way out on our last day.

I was a little disappointed this time. We have stayed here several times before.

We love the location and the staff.

Things seemed to be in poor condition. The door to our bathroom did not close. The toilet seat was not connected properly. There was no hair dryer in our room. We did let them know about all of these items but nothing was done to fix them.

You have to request daily housekeeping. We requested daily housekeeping however no one came we had to leave our towels outside our room. We also had to leave our trash outside the room because no one came to empty it.
