Really comfy overnight layover

I had a 12 hour layover in Phoenix after traveling all the way from Japan to LA. A couple options with airport shuttle were available, this one looked the less sketchy and for a very small price difference. I was really surprised with the size and comfort of the room and the amenities offered, wished I didn't need to take an early flight the next day.

Staff was not very welcoming, and I got ripped off buying a travel size toothpaste at the shop and getting charged way too much for it on my card after I left.

I want to be reimbursed some of my money wasn't up to Hilton Garden standard

The pool was filthy and couldn't be used. When I went to take a shower and opened the shower curtain there was a dirty towel hanging on the rod. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and even the sister hotel next door pool was filthy. When I asked when the pool was serviced I was told it was supposed to be and he agreed it needed to be and hadn't been. The whole reason I choose the hotel was to soak in the hot tub and I was unable to.

The breakfast is not kid friendly. There needs to be more cereal options, waffle maker like most locations have, and more drink options for kids.

Melinda made our stay one of the best if not the best We’ve ever had

Check in Service was amazing. The nicest sweetest and most professional service I ever received from Melinda at front desk.

That Melinda wasn’t there all day. :)

Met our basic needs for an overnight. Clean, large room w/ comfortable bed, Keurig in room, nice shower. Got a good night's sleep. Free shuttle to airport.

First room was nice but the air didn't work, moved to another room but beds were smaller and TV smaller. The restaurant food was bland and service was subpar.

Overall a good stay. If small improvements mentioned above are made it would have been excellent!

Room felt spacious. Had dinner at hotel and it was very good! All service staff from check in to food server were great.

Bottom Sheet on bed had open hole in it and needs to be tossed. Ceiling over shower had obvious water damage/stains. Upholstered chair obviously stained and should be replaced or recovered. Chose this hotel because of proximity to airport and airport shuttle to airport, unfortunately when we were there, they had a rental shuttle without ‘credentials’ to take us to our terminal (curbside). Sky train got us there, but had to juggle luggage, etc, so a bit disappointing.

perfect location

only issue and important for elderly the van to airport was a loaner and did not have necessary sticker to do drop off at gates so drop off was at skyline which involves a great deal of walking I asked for wheelchair for my friend and was told there were none she has long Covid which has caused respiratory issues and can not walk great lengths we went to airport early and grateful I did since she needed to stop frequently my suggestion is any time van is not the correct one the desk should inform anyone booking a shuttle since some physical challenges may not be obvious

the shower was good.

it was not very clean. the room was very noisy. air conditioner on and off all night. the staff was ok but not great best thing was the shuttle in the am

Comfortable stay

The hotel was a quick ride from to the airport. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready, but there was a nice outdoor sitting area to relax and wait. During our stay, the hot tub was not working, but we could go over to the hotel next door and use their's. Since we stayed on Christmas, the restaurant and bar area was closed but we were able to enjoy the cook to order breakfast in the morning. The beds were comfortable. The room was larger than normal and we had a view of the mountains.

I understand that some amenities were not available on Christmas day, but I wish I was informed of this ahead of time. I even called ahead of time to verify that the restaurant would be open but the person at the desk did not tell me that it would be closed.
