I have a late checkin, no one was at the desk, no one answered the phone, had to call 1-800 number to get some direction on how to get to my room. After going back and forth across the property I finally got access to my room. Never got the proper explanation about amenities. Found out the next morning I have to move to another room without notice. While still in the room, house keeping walks in around 9 am and said they thought we checked out, which wasn't until 10 am. So I packed up all my stuff and just went to the beach for the day which I had to find out where to go from a previous property that I frequent. I ended up going to a public beach because I had no idea I had access to the beach across the street. Came back to the resort around 2 pm and my room still wasn't ready. So my experience was horrible! And this is the nice version!¡

Our stay

We had a 5 day stay here. First, I really liked the location of the resort. Getting there, we didn't realize how big the resort actually was and what all was included so that was a great surprise. There was the wharf just a few minutes drive away and the beach across the main road. It was great. The room was spacious and fit our family perfectly. Plus we liked having a full size kitchen. The kitchen had all the things you needed. Trash bags, soap, sponges, baking sheets & all the cooking utensils. The parking lot was always easy to find a space close and no issues there. The staff was really friendly and helpful from the beginning!! Upon arrival, we were given maps, room keys and the front desk personnel even explained where to go and what days special events were happening. It was a great experience with the staff!

There aren't many pictures on the website so we weren't really sure what to expect. Once in the room, we noticed it was a bit dated. The balcony door didn't lock which was unsettling as we stayed with children. There was a strong cigarette smell when opening the kitchen cabinets and fridge. Disgustingly enough, there were hairs in the king bed upon first inspection. It's unsettling to think the sheets weren't washed or something along those lines. Also, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was lopsided and sagging. The shower steamer didn't work either which was not horrible but definitely wanted to try it out. Washing machines were available on 3 floors so we used the 2nd floor machines which were moldy inside the seal. I know this happens to front loading washers, but kind of gross thinking all the people using it.

great view, quiet and a great location…better than expected.

The only thing that could be improved is the checkout time…10 am is not desirable…many other places let you checkout at 11 or 12. Considering that you cant check in until 4pm, having to leave at 10am is not even close to a full 24 hours for one night and more like 36 hrs for 2 nights.

Next trip we will stay somewhere with a much better view

Hallways smelled , shower was in hallway bath bed was not as comfortable as I would like and we thought we were overlooking the bay which was not in view

It was a nice room. The grounds were beautiful. The pool was nice.

There was no staff after 5 pm. We couldn't rent a golf cart. It took 45 minutes to get back to room on shuttle from the beach.

Nice room but seemed to be lower end of resort.

Nice sized room. Convenient kitchen. 2 bathrooms.

Shuttle wait was very excessive. Some jets not working in bath tub. Loud noises in back of building early in the morning. Halls smell musty and damp.

This was the first time staying at Bay Club and was a great value for the price.

King size bed was somewhat squeaky and unlevel. Our view of the bay was not what we had anticipated. To many pine trees in front and the side view overlooked the top of the adjacent building.
