The breakfast was incredible as was the bed! The property was lovely and our host was the sweetest!

Breakfast was excellent. Beautifully set table.

The bed was luxurious with fresh, white linen linens. I felt I was sleeping in a cloud. So comfortable. The bathroom was meticulously fresh, clean and bright with a very large spa tub for totally relaxing. The breakfast was elegantly set out and absolutely fresh and delicious. The property is set back into a private drive, surrounded by trees and the sound of birds and the rushing of water from the local river. Coffee before breakfast on the back veranda was so peaceful. Rose, the owner is absolutely delightful with her insights and dedication to local shops and restaurants. She lives the comfort she shares with her guest; gracious and carrying without intruding We look forward to making our reservation for next year and the year after. Beautiful stay at the Plantation House!

I seriously cannot think of anything that we would have changed or didn’t like.

The entire experience was exceptional. The owner was extremely wonderfull host. The Breakfast was top class. The bedroom and bathroom beyond my expection. I can't wait to return.

We loved Rose, our host! Such a welcoming lady and made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the poached pears from her very own pear tree and canned cherries with yogurt. The bed was so comfortable and room was spacious and everything was exceptionally clean.

The room was lovely, crisp sheets and linens. Breakfast was delicious! The birds singing outside was an added pleasure. The hostess was welcoming and personable.

A tranquil retreat surrounded by beautiful gardens and glades. The house is impeccable-the furniture and decor were exceptional. Your hostess is is gracious and welcoming woman whose makes sure everything is just perfect.

Aesthetically pleasing although lacking in heart. Our host was able to get us the TSN Channel we wanted on the television and breakfast was very good.

Poor first impression. No sign saying Plantation House and we could not reach the owner by phone when trying to clarify directions, even though it was after the opening time. The driveway was blocked halfway up to prevent easy drop off of bags. Owner did not welcome us and refused to give any help with the small bags up the steps and stairs even though my partner is partially blind and her walking is compromised. The B&B is spotlessly clean and appointed with top class amenities but lacking a welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely property. Rose is a perfect host, and everything about our stay was exceptional.

The property was elegant, spotless, and an oasis of tranquility. The service was personal and attentive without being intrusive. And the breakfast on our private balcony was superb. Very highly recommended.

Location, character and cleanliness of ( historical)house, comfortable bed and high quality linens. Fresh, tasteful decor. Nice, outdoor breakfast area and warm, attentive service. Rose is a lovely host.

No room key available and the room only locked from the inside, which left us a little anxious about going out and leaving certain belongings potentially unprotected. Didn’t make a fuss, as this is not a sketchy area and we were the only guests that night, but perhaps something to remedy going forward, if possible? Also, rather poor water pressure or hot water availability from faucet in our ( otherwise very nice) bathroom . Not sure if the case throughout the house or simply a problem with that particular fixture.

Delightful hostess. Magnificently curated oasis. A gem I would not like the world to discover but that would be churlish!

Breakfast was excellent and Rose the hostess was amazingly friendly. Would definitely come again.
