Be carefull

It was ok, bed was big, comfortable, We slept well.

The curtains were very dirty. Don't step out, homless people are all around, scary, very scary.

Best value in San Francisco

This was my third or fourth stay and I keep returning because if you have a car, I believe the Roadway Inn to be the best value of any hotel in San Francisco! Free on-site parking makes for less hassle and saves you $40-$50/night compared to other hotels. Limited sites are available, so I usually park when I check in, and use rideshare services as needed. I also feel my car is less likely to be burglarized here than on the street, but leave nothing visible in your car - anywhere in SF! I'm here to sleep only and the room is satisfactory. Bathrooms have been tastefully remodeled with tile in some and glass showers in others. Refrigerators and microwaves can help you to save even more than using restaurants. My room had a wood-like flooring that I perceive to be cleaner than carpeting. Everything worked and my Wifi was adequate or good. With the money I saved on the room, I treated myself to a phenomenal breakfast two blocks away at Son & Garden. If you like bacon, be sure to try their candied pork belly!

I have always had a clean room here but on this visit, there was visible tree debris on the floor. The room and bathroom were otherwise spotless. What I noticed is that there's no threshold seal under the door. It's frequently breezy or downright windy in SF. When the wind blew, the dirt was blowing in underneath the door. A simple weather-strip on the bottom of the door would prevent this issue and I highly recommend ownership to make this easy fix that will raise cleanliness scores. The stairwell and elevator seem dingy and old, but there was painting going on during my stay so maybe that will appear better on my next visit.

Koszmar i horror.

Totalnie nic. Obiekt nie uznał mojej rezerwacji. Musiałem zabukować na ulicy inny nocleg. Zero pomocy z jakiejkolwiek strony. Booking też się nie popisał. Pomimo wielu negatywnych doświadczeń jakie mają tutaj ludzie, Booking nadal współpracuje z nimi. Dno i porażka. Nie rezerwujcie tutaj noclegów.

Absolutnie nic. Pomimo recepcji, nie można nawet wejść do środka tylko trzeba rozmawiać z pracownikiem przez okienko jak w budce na parkingu. Obsługa niekompetentna.

Simple but sweet

Great location. Easy to get to all tourist sites from the hotel.

Was directly on the boarder of the Tenderloin district. Tenderloin district is where all homeless are. We walked from Union Square to the hotel with our luggage not knowing we were walking threw it. Was an eye sore. If you are traveling by public transport, try and go another way. Otherwise, I felt very safe outside and inside the hotel. Was only the walk to the hotel from the BART that was not attractive.

Ended up cancelling because it’s pretty low rent.

Didn’t have enough parking, crappy rooms with crappy beds. No lobby. Have low expectations and you’ll be fine c

Very loud, you can hear everything going on outside the room. Doors slamming shut people yelling for some unknown reason. Loud vehicles outside (garbage trucks?) Skid rows down nearly every street around it.

tv didn’t work, fridge was not cold. ruined food. no cold drinks. called about tv not working they basically just said idk it was late at night though. mentioned in the morning when checking out and was told “ can’t do anything bout it thanks for letting me know “ no offer for compensation, no apology for wasted food which is $. would have appreciated an apology for the inconvenience.

Interesting stay to know absurd and terrible realities involving homeless and drug addicted people

The restroom was clean and modern, there was coffee and tea ready to use, the fridge was working, Wifi connection was good.

The surrounding area, in particular Eddy St and Turk St, is dangerous and unsafe, these two streets are full of drug addicts and homeless people. The door continuously moved due to the wind making noises all the time, the wind passed under it making the room very cold at night. Recommended only in cases of extreme emergency for one night.

We booked a room at the Rodeway Inn because the location was walking distance from our favorite San Francisco restaurant and the Opera House, where we were attending a ballet performance. The room was simple and basic, but clean and quiet.

The room was clean and spacious for a solo traveller. Everything was good enough and what I expected. In a way, it was a reasonable price with a comfortable room.

The reception has a guard partition and was suited outside like a drive-through (but on-site of the building). I wasn't sure whether the area was safe for a solo traveller or maybe not. It will be the option to book for the next time I travel to San Fransisco. I think I'll book a bit closer to the centre and a safe feel location.

Absolutely nothing, if you can avoid this please please do

You could hear everything from outside, walls are very very thin. i felt very unsafe walking to my room. i would run upstairs and not leave my room because of how terrifying the area was. i got out as soon as i could. The people at the INN that live there are very loud and scary they all seem to be high on something. Cleaning lady was nice but everything else was terrible
