Quite disappointing.

Breakfast good

Old- dirty carpets that should have been replaced decades ago. Second twinned had to be accessed thru old wooden ladder. One light only and no place to put luggage.

Lo recomiendo.

AMÉ el hotel. Es un edificio antiguo, muy de San Francisco. El cuarto es pequeño, pero pues así eran los hoteles. Además todo el tiempo de viaje estábamos fuera. Limpio. El desayuno muy sencillo, pero gratis, lo cual me ahorró dinero del viaje. Sin duda volvería. GRAN UBICACION

We had accident but our stay was good!

Bed was clean and comfy. Our room has coffee machine, fridge, microwave and our plan has breakfast.

As Microwave was broken, couldn't warm up our dinner. Asked stuff to warm up, they let me use breakfast room's microwave. Coffee machine was leaked hot water.

Decent stay

Location. It was clean, comfortable, and a neat vintage San Francisco experience.

The window leaked when it rained. Some general maintenance could benefit but it did not impede our stay.

No es lo que ofrecen, del peor hotel que yo haya tomayen mi vida de viajes, adicional llamo a la aplicación por el tema de horario y aún así me estaban cobrando recargo por no llegar a la hora exacta, es la primera vez que me sucede en un hotel, que si no se registra a la hora exacta toca pagar multa 😤😤😤, adicional ofrecen desayuno y la verdad es solo cafe, leche, fruta y pan, pague más costoso este hotel para tener un desayuno más decente y resultó que no, me hubiera salido mejor sin desayuno y pagar por fuera... mejor dicho....no lo recomiendo absolutamente para nada,...😤😤😤

Buena opción en magnífica ubicación

Ubicacion; personal, bastante agradable

La llave de la habitación funcionaba mal continuamente, el desayuno es pésimo, no merece la pena ni bajar a tomarlo , y además, al parecer de una de las tostador salía mucho humo y hubo un aviso de incendios y nos tuvimos que bajar medio vestidos a la puerta del Hotel, porque vinieron los bomberos a las 7:00 de la mañana; la limpieza solo lo hacen si avisas antes. Estuve en dos habitaciones distintas. Una era muy pequeña y la otra más grande pero el baño también era muy pequeño;

La ubicación perfecta, a literalmente dos calles caminando de Union Square y cerca de la estación de tren/metro.

El desayuno bastante cutre. El personal de recepción poco resolutivo y no demasiado agradables.

It was just ok.

Beds were comfortable, location close to Union Square. Staff was kind and friendly. Decent continental breakfast with breads and oatmeal, tea, and coffee.

Advertised as Union Square but practically in Tenderloin which is not a safe neighborhood. This is not the hotel's fault, but very loud homeless, drunks, and addicts outside so we couldn't keep windows open at night. Would have been ok except no air conditioning unit in the room. Charged more for the room when booked in advance. Prices were lower after we arrived for the same nights. A lot of water damage in the bathroom and bedroom walls.

Overall, my stay was nice and pleasant. I also felt safe in that area.

Room is small but cozy. :) Wish there was a screen in the window to keep bugs out.

No air conditioner in the room.

No air conditioning - which is common in San Francisco, but the windows in my assigned room did not open. I had to ask to be moved to a different room because it was stuffy; Internet was horrible. Front desk said it was my computer "since nobody else complained about the issue"; after restarting my laptop twice, I noticed that also on my phone there was no wifi = it was not my computer.

only one thing good about this hotel is location

everything bar location, it’s a gloarified hostel, very old elevator is a joke and should be condemned, room tiny, bed very small and hard and no room to put suitcases in. overall this hotel is no better than a budget hostel

I would definitely stay here again if I went back to San Francisco.

Very good value for the heart of downtown San Francisco with friendly helpful staff. plus, at breakfast, you got to make your own eggs. cook.

The room television was completely baffling. Just trying to watch a live news channel proved beyond my capabilities .

Simple and quiet hotel with good quality/price ratio

Relatively low price for SF, excellent personnel. The room comfort was on the minimalist side: small room, a little dated, without desk, etc. But it was really clean, comfortable, and quiet. This was exactly the quality/price ratio I was searching for (~150€/night). Perfect wifi network. The hotel neighborhood was safe. Breakfast was proposed (pastries, bread, juice & coffee). Many options for more advanced breakfast in the neighborhood, when desired.

Price was consistent with the pros and cons of the hotel (see above).

Nice stay in San Francisco at reasonable price

Close to Union Square, very nice breakfast and all the persons working at the hotel were vary kinds and helpful.

The room close in front of the street (at the first floor) was noisy during the week-end until 2am.

Good option if you budget constrained but need to be downtown

All round value for money. Lots of choices on tv Easy to control heat Less street dwellers outside than most downtown hotels.

Stayed here twice in Feb. Room 609 smelt slightly damp and musty but 203 was fine Walk to Bart ( Powell) is about 10 mins No other negatives this place is very slightly faded but basically fine..I would repeat stay

Acceptable, good points made for a pleasant stay, but phones in the rooms need to go if they are ornaments. Facilities

Reception v welcoming , helpful and permitted an earlier check in which is always appreciated. Breakfast abundant, always appreciated.

No phone functioning in the room. NOT EVERYONE travelling has mobile data on a phone or a local SIM card for very short stays. I chose the hotel based on the (rare)phone on my room, not so, not functioning phones, across the board. Reception did offer mobile phone but this is not the same as 24 hr access for friends ringing in to the guest room

The staff was ☑️.

Not that I didn't like but room for improvement. Ask guests whether they know how to fry/boil egg using a microwave oven. For some we had only used the oven to warm stuff not cook 🤣🤣

Great location. The lady in breakfast area (Alma) was super friendly and helpful. Same for Luz at reception.

Poor quality in everything, poor breakfast, no hygiene measures at all. The tall guy at the reception was very rude.

Great!

Everything! The hotel is old but very clean. All the staff was very polite, sweet and doing everything they could to help us. Simple but good breakfast was included. Location was perfect! I truly recommend if you don't want an expensive hotel but you want a good service.
