Bon accueil et personnel sympathique mais pour le prix on s'attend à mieux

Personnel très sympathique et accueillant

Chambre pas du tout conforme aux photos, bien moins rangé, bien moins propre et délabré, pas très propre. Si seulement les chambres étaient conformes aux photos du site, elles doivent dater de quelques années

Le séjour était bien sauf le logement.

L’établissement était très sale. Une serviette de bain pour deux pendant 3 jours. Des toiles d’araignées partout au plafond. Les fenêtres cassées les mûres brisés.

Tout. Un établissement insalubre. Il aurait besoin d’un contrôle car l’hygiène n’était pas au rendez-vous

Le seul point positif l'emplacement

Premièrement ont me menacent de faire remorquer mon véhicule parce que je suis stationné sur le stationnement de l'auberge. Ensuite ils m'installent dans un placard de 6pi x 9pi en me disant que c'est temporaire et que dans la soirée ont me déplaceras dans la chambre que j'ai réservé mais me marmone qu'il ne peut rien me promettre ??? Ensuite visite la salle de bain...des poils et cheveux dans le bain et drains de douche et lavabo,en gros c'est pas invitant. Ensuite j'ai ressenti les 12 ressort du matalas qui sentait le 19ieme siecle et pour terminé des punaises de lit mon laissées des marques un peu partout sur le corps ...bref !

You get what you pay for. It was fairly cheap, but next time I’d rather pay $300 more for a Holiday Inn.

it was fuctional. Ac and washing machines were newly added and gave us no problems.

They took us to another location that was not listed online, and we shared a sweet with other travelers. The shower was dirty and barely held together, the kitchen was filthy and the microwave looked like sometime crawled inside it and died there. Parking is additional, but they don’t tell you that until you get there. And you better be careful cause their singular lot gets filled up quickly if you’re not lucky.

It was a comfortable stay and good value for money

I appreciated being moved to a room with access to laundry facilities.

The apartment kitchen was bare of plates, cups and cutlery, and the appliances (microwave and kettle) didn't look clean.

The farrington Quiet Boston subburb two building hotel one building was trashed I was walked to my room, second building was better but still no bathroom misadvertusing at the farrington for sure 10 A A 10 -/\

Dark dingy and uncomfortable

Didn’t have breakfast none offered location was OK. I didn’t like anything about the day. It was old. It was dirty and I felt very uncomfortable. It was more like a motel or a shelter However, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

It could use a Complete renovation

Despite hiccups enjoyed stay.

nice neighborhood, quiet, shops close by.

Rude manager, incompetent staff, odor of weed, not clean, high price. Failed to refund for double booking accidentally done by incompetent staff. Claims it was done, but see nothing in the bank... I suppose manager is also incompetent as his staff. Will ghost you if you complain... so good luck getting your issues resolved. Manager has an ego problem if you complain vocally.

Very disappointing and overpriced given the state of the accommodation and bathrooms - not recomm.

The location was handy and access to public transport was very convenient. There is a good choice of restaurants, in particular, I'd recommend the tiny corner Italian restaurant on the main street called 'Alfredo's'. His pasta is cooked to order and very well priced eg $13-20 for a generous bowl of delicious pasta. Alfredo's garlic bread is good and made with quality bread from Little Italy bakery. He also makes his own cannoli.

Cleanliness and functionality were poor and the premises and furnishings were very dated and worn. Examples: a. beds were old and saggy, carpet was filthy and stained, blinds were broken, no flywire on window. b. bathroom was dirty, cracked tiles, shower had no 'head' - plumbing needed as just a spout with water that sprayed in all directions, water temperature was cooler than luke warm and pressure was poor as the lever to cut water from the bath spout to the shower head didn't work. No toiletries provided.

nothing. it was a horrible experience and total waste of our money.

the bathroom was not clean, used soap shampoo in the shower, huge vomit in the sink. they had no one to come and clean the room. 2 hours later the desk attendant tried to clean the bathroom but the vomit was so dried up that it would not clean. we never used the sink and used the one in the little kitchenette in the room. it was gross. the mattress should not even be allowed to be used. creaky with broken springs. sleeping on a camping pad is more comfortable than this. we would not recommend this place. carpet hallway was gross and stained.

Utter disappointment, could not recommend to anyone.

No breakfast provided. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Extremely basic, u clean accommodation.

Almost everything could be improved. Room very dirty. Bed bugs in mattress. Left arm had 5 painful bites.

Great choice for single or couple travelers, might be a bit more uncomfortable with kids.

THe Farrington Inn is exactly what a single person would want. It is very affordable, decently clean and to be honest, whocares about the rest of the people who live there? The rooms are secure and you are getting a perfect place for a very good price. Located in the dead middle of Boston, that place is great and I will definitely be coming back so many more times.

The paid parking is a bit uncomfortable because you pay but the parking spaces are limited so if you return late be ready that the lot will be full. But again, $10 per night is amazing considering anywhere in Boston you will pay at least $12 an hour.

For the price it was okay, but looking back we would've paid the extra $2-300/night for nicer place.

Affordable. The staff was relatively kind.

Bed extremely uncomfy. Common room left open/unlocked. Door to our room felt unsecure. Windows let in all sound.

Hostel-level quality place offering private rooms with shared bathrooms.

Great location near lots of restaurants and public transportation.

Many of the rooms have brown wall-to-wall carpeting that looks terrible, dirty and old. It would be great if the owners removed the carpeting and just had the natural wood floors.

I was waiting in the lobby 10 minutes or more for someone to shows up. During this waiting time I heard some mice. Then I notice we have Shar bathroom outside the room. We left and ask for cancelation.

Will never return. bathrooms & rooms are way too old

Nothing. The lobby was dirty. It can be old but they can make the place cleaner. The bathrooms are way too old. They need to renovate to make it look cleaner and presentable to the guests

Good for a few days of backbacking

Very friendly and helping staff. Good location. Close to Boston T. We did not expect too much but we slept well and felt safe. It is totally okay for a few days as a backpacker.

The bathrooms are pretty old and used up. Surfaces seemed clean"ish" though. A bit overprices but in relation to other locations in Boston, that is what you get I guess.

A place where crimes or horror films come to life. A nightmare.

Location, nothing else, and well the staff, they were nice enough to offer help carrying my luggage up the stairs, they were quite heavy, none the less he helped me without me asking for it.

The bathroom is shared amongst guests, cleanliness is poor, and the place is derelict like no other place I have ever stayed. The bed is the worst I have ever slept on, and the public areas such as halls, lobby, doors, etc. are accordingly horrible. Whilst loading my car with luggage I say a huge rat in a rat trap, 24 hours later, the rat was still there, full of bugs and flies, the staff had not taken care of this even though I told them about this the moment i say it.

I enjoyed my stay and would return or recommendor recommend.

I like New England architecture and that the hotel is an older building.

The top stairs toilet stops up a lot but at least there’s a disclaimer posted above it.

Ratio of restrooms to visitors was too small. The mattress on the bed could have been more level. There should have been some clothes-hangers in the closet. Replace the broken things: chair, nightstand, lightbulbs, ...
