Je recommande vivement! Excellent rapport qualité/prix!

Nous y étions pour une nuit, ma mère et moi. Agréablement surprise de la propreté de l’Auberge, personnel accueillant et disponible aux heures indiquées. La cuisine très spacieuse et bien équipée! La chambre était spacieuse avec un lit superposé simple, confortable. Très bien situé dans le centre de Magog. Près des restos et cafés. Je recommande vivement car très bon rapport qualité/prix!

The bed and pillow were very comfortable. It was evident that management does prioritize the comfort of their guests. I also liked that the staff were very friendly and accomodating. They went out of their way to provide me with any extra assistance I needed.

Charming hostel

The old building is really well maintained. It gives a nice and peaceful atmosphere to the place. The furniture, the living room and the kitchen have some style they are cozy. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I would come back again!

Very nice place to stay at while visiting Magog. Non-profit. Nice kitchen and community atmosphere.

If you are taller than 6' 3" (190 cm) you may want to inquire to make sure you get a long enough bed.

Parking right behind the building, location is wonderful, steps away from the town centre with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from, very close to the lakefront as well for a nice little walk, has common area to hang out.

Could somehow plan out the outlet situation in the room a little better. Some bunk beds have no access to outlets

Clean , well maintained hostel that fit its description.

Cold draft from window ran directly to my bed and head and if not for sleeping with a winter hat on I would have caught a bad cold! Was in room 201. Bottom bed closest to the desk.

Great, comfortable and conveniently located hostel

Comfortable bed, friendly staff. I check in after hours around 12:30 am, front desk staff gave me front door code to enter the building and left the room key near the front door.

Disappointing

Breakfast was ok and the location was good

The door of our bedroom was really difficult to open and close. We didn’t have any sheet in the bedroom when we arrived and there were dust in the bedroom. The mattress was bad

Beautiful Facility

Could use a basic spice collection for the kitchen, most backpackers don't carry things like pepper, garlic powder etc. Only very minor thing.

Great location within walking distance of the lakefront, free parking, an elevator for getting bags upstairs. The simple breakfast looked good, I am keto so could not eat the chocolate croissants or yoghurt but the apple was yummy. Bathroom was big and clean, lots of areas to relax, watch tv or get together with other guests. Big kitchen and dining room.

Staff was very helpful and nice. The location is great. Difficult to be closer to downtown. Bathrooms were very clean.

A lovely hostel

The staff, the vibe, the quaint looks of the place, very charming place

The doors of all the rooms make a loud noise when open and close them whether you are delicate or not. In the middle of the night, can be a problem.

Bed was not comfortable, my room was terrible (308) no good window that we couldn't see out side and worse problem was noise of toilet that was behind the our wall caused we couldn't sleep at all

great location and friendly staff, highly recommend if you are on budget travel but no air condition

Great location and friendly staff. I was late for check in and the staff called me to ensure that I was coming and gave me the instruction how to enter the hostel.

I didn't notice there was no air conditioning. However, the hostel had put on 2 fans in my room to ensure adequate ventilation before I arrived

Read before booking

The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was delicious

The mattress are very hard. The rooms on the 3rd floor are not made for tall people since the ceiling is slanted. I hit my head multiple times. There is also no AC. Only little tiny fans which doesn't do much.

Nice location, but room 308 was horrible

Location is good. Staff was nice.

Avoid room 308. It is close to the washroom, so we could hear the water flushing all night. It was too hot in the room (the weather was somewhat warm, but not a heat wave of something. Maybe 26c during the day, 18c at night?), 2 fans wouldn’t really help. Since windows had to remain open, it was very noisy (restaurants nearby with the live music, the train at 1 am!). We did not sleep that night

The room was unfortunately dirty. there was a lot of dust on the floor and even a dead spider near the bed
