Excellent accommodation and hosts 😀

It felt like a home away from home.

If anyone has challenges with stairs or needs frequent trips to the bathroom. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs so just something to be aware of.

Comfortable stay

The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and the place is very clean and comfortable. Fully usable kitchen and and a large bedroom upstairs with a comfortable bed, couch, desk and closet. 80's-90's style with an updated washroom and kitchen but very well maintained. Carpets upstairs, lots of room for yoga. Your mini home away form home.

It was perfect!

Location was good. Hosts were very hospitable. It was a lovely setting with a lovely shaded backyard with a beautiful garden and giant trees. The host was so kind offering fresh vegetables from the garden. I was waiting at the ferry after I left on a hot day and the host came to the ferry to give me a bottle of cold refreshing water!

Amazing value for money and such a nice place!

What a great place! From the kindness of our hosts who offered us fresh vegetables from their garden to the sheer size of the place we had for the two of us, everything was great. We wished we would've stayed longer than we did. Amazing value for money too!

Nothing, it was one of our best stays during the trip!

Wonderful home away from home if you’re staying in this area

Super friendly and accommodating hosts, very comfy suite with many details thought of, super plush bed in an air conditioned, dark, quiet, large bedroom and amazing natural yard to enjoy!

That I had to go back home after my little vacation….

Fantastic holiday spot, stunning & relaxing garden to enjoy!

The location was perfect, accessible to all amenities & more. A beautiful garden, wonderful porch to relax & enjoy , true vacation property. The hosts are very gracious if anything was needed, no wait time. This was our second visit, because we thoroughly enjoyed the property the first time!!!

location was easy to find .close to walking trails and access to highway to travel around. garden offf deck was a nice spot to enjoy morning. coffee and relax .accomodation had every thing needed to make own meals .if i am ever travelling to comox bc would most definitely stay here again.

Great except for Booking.

We felt ripped off by Bookingl. We thought we were getting a rate of about $65/night. Found out there were huge fees and that this Canadian property was quoted in US Dollars.

Wonderful place to come back to

This was our second time staying. Just as cute and comfy as the first time. Loved the lap blankets on the sofa.

peaceful, quiet and well located home

the location was quiet and so relaxing. Host Bob was so very welcoming and shared his great knowledge of the area and pointed us in the directions of some beautiful sights. the home has everything you could need to relax, rest and enjoy the lovely Courtenay area. thanks Bob, your kind welcome and guidance really made our stay something special.

Shame we only had one night here.

This is an excellent cottage with a welcoming and thoughtful host. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen. It is spacious and quiet with access to a covered outside seating area and garden. The bedroom is huge and comfortable with space for a desk and seating area.

The host, (Bob) was incredibly helpful with directions and a tour of the room. Loved it!

I did not have breakfast, but the coffee was good and there was a kitchen if I wanted to make my own. I had trouble with the coffee maker. A little suggestion- write simple instructions as to the buttons to press. My coffee maker is not so state of the art so it took awhile. Loved the seclusion, quiet, tastefulness and the outdoor space. Fabulous!

I just explained about the coffee, so I won’t repeat myself! I’d go back in a heartbeat. Great price for great value.

It was so cozy with all the comforts of home! Very spacious and loved that there was a full kitchen with everything we could ever need and then some! Loved the charm of the place, the patio, yard, the antiques, lighting,
