Betaalbaar hotel buiten Beaufort centrum

De locatie is buiten het dorp. Ik zou de volgende keer kiezen voor iets rustieks in het dorp, geeft meer sfeer. Een Hilton blijft een Hilton, dus dat zit wel goed. Het werd gerenoveerd toen wij er waren, onze kamer was nog niet geweest, maar die was dan ook wel verouderd. Ontbijt is prima verzorgd.

Kamer was gedateerd, afstand tot centrum is wat ver, je zit aan de doorgaande weg.

Overall, the rooms & staff were just adequate. It’s too bad because the location was great.

Setting beautiful looking out to a salt marsh with lots of large oaks. Location was very convenient to everything & easy access from the main road.

Breakfast was subpar and they ran out of staples, like coffee & bread, both days during my stay. Staff was not very welcoming & wouldn’t accommodate my request for dividing the bill in two since my friend & I were sharing the cost of the hotel. It also took a long time to check in because the reservation desk was having computer problems. We were checking in late after a long drive & wanted to find a restaurant open late & they were able to provide a couple of places nearby.

Overall it was fine.

They don’t clean every day. When they run out of something they don’t refill. They just leave it. Such as the fresh infusion water. It went empty and they just left it and didn’t refresh it

Great!

The location was right in the middle of town. It was easy to get to historic downtown, great restaurants, & the islands.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with the shower head but was able to use the hand held.

Great place, reasonable price.

Breakfast was good, cook I guess he’s called was friendly but while talking to him and another guest checked the eggs for cheese he appeared agitated. Maybe the guy has a cheese allergy or didn’t want them if they did’nt have cheese. Still don’t get upset because the guest tried to see if there was cheese in the folded egg. Maybe the guy actually touched the egg and if so I’d be upset also. We liked everything about the hotel. Upon arrival we even got bottled water and they had cookies. They could get some maintenance to clean the leaves from the parking lot and the grounds in general. Still we liked it and would stay again but since we were over 3,000 miles from home we won’t be going there again.

It was just an ok stay.

It was clean. Very nice staff. Breakfast was great.

Lighting in the room is terrible. The bed was the absolute worst I have ever slept on. The room was not complete. No towels or bags in the trash can. The beds looked like someone had laid on them.

Location was fine

The room was not clean when we arrived at 10pm ( we should have been able to access the room at 3pm). The breakfast was fair at best. There was a $75 pet fee added to our bill - this was never discussed.

Can't get a manager on the phone or email, tried multiple times all week long

I tried to call and send emails all week that were never returned. So we lost over $100. We won't be back.

We were there for our son’s graduation from the marine corps, if we return, we would definitely stay here again.

The outside area was beautiful with all the Spanish moss, very clean and smelled fresh when walking in.

I didn’t see anything I didn’t like about the property, other than someone had left trash outside near the park bench.

Hampton Inn Vacation

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff

No toilet paper on roll and none in room. Toilet leaked. I thought I booked a room with a handicap shower or at least a shower stool and only had handicap room with tub. Kept running out of things at breakfast but what they had was good. In defense it was marine graduation and could be everyone eating at once

Skip the hotel but drive through parking lot for the stunning marsh view.

Dirty hair under pillows and sheet in bed so requested to change rooms. Room #2 had hair in the shower and on the shower wall. Disappointing for a Hilton affiliate/owned property and way overpriced!!! Then drink machine didn’t take credit cards and front desk has no cash to break a $5 bill. Then breakfast, no batter for waffles and kitchen staff not allowed to make more at 9:30 since breakfast stops serving at 10. Are you kidding me???? With 20 people in dining room they needed authority to make more batter??? My husband went to front desk for kitchen staff approval to make more. Best thing about this place is the marsh view and moss on the trees.

Good

The setting of the hotel was lovely.

The check in woman was irritated that I disturbed her, the breakfast was a disappointment and the room was simply okay. The air conditioning made a lot of noise.

Loved Beaufort and would like to come back. Would stay again in hopes maintenance was up to speed.

Breakfast was excellent and attendants were so pleasant. Location was fine, but hotel stuck horribly and we actually had to have a maintenance person "break in" on the last day. He explained the renovations had messed some things up and needed to be corrected. Check in was very smooth and pleasant.

Check out was slow and the maintenance issue with the room door was very annoying over the two night stay.

rude staff, manager replied to mistakes saying it was my fault I didn't ask for room service early

No room service made an excuse that said had to request 24 hours in advance. Hard to do when you check in 16 hours before you need it.

Love it

Customer Service was phenomenal. They were friendly and answered every question I had. Got me and my family in our room quickly.

I loved everything about the hotel and plus it was in reasonable distance to the Marine base.

Our bathroom door fell off first thing. Reported to front desk, no one fixed it the 3 days we were there. Refrigerator had no freezer section and frig part froze the food and drinks, lamp shade had big tear in it. Rooms need updating. Staff very friendly and Breakfast very good. Overall nice, just needs a little attention.
