There was no breakfast.
Location was great! Excellent!
An elevator could have been a great addition!
3.7
Proximity to the beach and restaurants. The price point was great. We were actually surprised when entering the room. Spacious and modern.
They should do a better job of dusting. The hallway was very loud with foot traffic back and forth on the stairs and the main door slamming.
3.7
Location! Close to Golden Gate Park. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, beach, park...
The noise from the muni in the morning. The walls are also thin. The side of the toilet wasn't clean.
3.7
One block away from the beach.
No elevator.

Clean room, comfortable bed, good location
Room was not cleaned, no maid service in room 133. Room 132, maid did not leave a new soap bar

Great location. Staff is helpful. Parking. Safe.

The place can use some updating.

I like that it is close to the beach. Short Walking distances.
I like that as my first time at the beach and this hotel, I got what I asked for in the request. And in person the staff confirmed my reservation and met my requested needs.
Has fridge & microwave. Has private bathrooms. Has exhaust fan in the bathroom so it doesn't stinks the rooms. Although in our room the fan appeared on low power/speed so it wasn't a very strong exhaust fan.
Parking is limited. Very very tight spaces. First come first serve. There are more rooms available than parking spaces, so if you move your car out and come back, you will likely lose your parking space and will have to park on a street where there are homeless encampments.
There are regular residential houses right in front of the hotel facing the beach, so the neighbors can be loud at times. Especially if they are BBQing outside their backyard and Playing loud music and guitar! Ugh.,
Not a carpeted room. The hard floor was kind of sticky and was causing our feet to be sticky and there were some leftover sands that we could feel, like they did get vacuumed or wiped down. It wasn't that bad, but enough to be noticed and brought to bed with.
The building is outdated or old. It could be remodeled.

Large room, comfortable beds
Windows and a little more attention to cleaning would go a long way

SF can be super expensive for a stay. We had a decent room near the beach on a weekend in summer for a real reasonable rate! Given the cost, the value of the room was exceptional. I was skeptical at first because I have high standards for my stays. I'm not saying it was the greatest, but for value in SF it was great, and I would stay there again. It seemed safe even at night and just across the street was the beach. Nice coffee house next door and a great restaurant within walking distance to the north. Also free parking.
A little noisy as our room was above the street and the MUNI buses were loud. I just closed the window and mostly solved the problem. Some homeless around but not too many and did not seem threatening. I did lower my standards some but that should be expected for the cost.
3.7
Excellent location next to the beach and the Muni line. Free off-street parking. Building felt secure and safe.
Very thin walls, you can hear the televisions in other guest rooms and people walking through the hall and opening/closing their doors.
3.7
The Inn was close to Golden Gate Park and across from the beach (one block). It was close to a few cafes' and easy access to most popular places (Ghirardelli Square, Marina District, Palace of Fine Arts etc.).
The room wetas very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. Parking was first come first serve, but we had no problem finding a parking spot in the Inn's parking lot.
Bart rail was in front of the Inn. The outside of the facility looked a bit run-down, yet still clean.
3.7
Good sized room, comfy bed and clean room
You can hear the trams/public transport
3.7
proximity to restaurants, beach, ample parking.
no elevator

Friendly Staff and accessible room with fabulous shower and located across from beach and Stretcar that crosses from Beach to San Francisco Bay
It was a short stay. I had to be at Stanford University by Friday

Whilst the outside didn't look much, it was a pleasant surprise in the room. Clean, spacious with plenty of furniture and storage. Really quite impressed. Use of fridge in the room was very helpful.
Views weren't much but not a deal breaker!

Location, it is right across from the beach and close to Golden Gate Park. Street car that takes you to down town is on the same street as the hotel.
I stayed there over ten years ago and it was a bit run down, but very clean. It has been remodeled since then with updated bathrooms (well done) and new paint pallet. However, the furniture look older and the walls were damaged and stained. The old carpet was replaced with LV flooring, which looked nice, but you can hear the people in the room above more then if the room had been carpeted.
I was late arriving into the city ( after mid night ) and they were going to leave my room key on top of the Pepsi machine in the off street parking area which is open to the street. Luckily, someone was there to give me the key. They said the office was usually closed at 10:30 PM!
3.7
The hottel is right next to tram stop and tram turntable so it is impossible to sleep all night if you have window to the street ! Don't recommend at all, better find another hotel on another street.
3.7
Very close to the beach and a good coffee shop.
Noise level from above floorboards.
3.7
Window to the ocean. Friendly atmosphere
No elevator. Only stairs. 3 small flights to get to room
Surrounding area. Closest thing open late at night is 7-11
3.7
Desk Clerk upon Arrival, sincere and accommodating.
location! beach across the street, streetcar at the curb in front.
3.7
Large room, quiet while we were there, clean if not a bit sterile feeling. Price better than most for the area.
Location did not feel safe to walk especially as a woman or at night. Checking in is very impersonal through an outside glassed window, felt like buying tickets for a movie theater. No elevator.
3.7
I liked how clean it was and the location is perfect. very close to Ocean Beach and to a train (almost in front). I loved it.
I didn’t like that the floor outside the room (in the aisle) is a little bit loud as you step. However, I did not hear a thing inside the room. I just felt like I was making a lot of noise walking outside the room at night.

Great place,
It was nice to stay.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for years. I absolutely love it and love the location. I arrived 3 hours earlier than check in time and they were kind enough to let us get our room. The coffee shop below it is amazing and it’s right across the street from the beach. This has always been my favorite Frisco hotel.
3.7
The situation just next to the beach. Next to Facilities. The muni N line next to the door, easy to go to downtown.
The person at the lobby was nice though
.I'm sorry but the room was Not clean, dust and dirty floor, fridge has an strange liquid and very dirty. Dirty sofa with stains. Not acceptable for this price.
