There are no words to say, it was so enjoyable

Love it 😍

The back patio music was wonderful till 9 PM. But then they had some type of music playing till about midnight. That was a little too loud. We didn’t use the AC on our windows were open so it was a little difficult to fall asleep.

Delightful overnight stay at historic old hotel, love the National and Block Island

History, location and convenience to town

Old historical building, so the Air Conditioning was ok, but could have been a bit stronger

great location for a weekend stay

location Friendly staff who did an exceptional job of accommodating us when the ferry service was interrupted for days because of inclement weather

Would have liked a refrigerator and microwave in the room

Superb

The location was amazing. You were right in town and the view was spectacular. The staff was great and the front desk was outstanding.

The room was very small and they closed the bar right in the middle of the day on football Sunday for the season.

Very close to ferry, beach across the street, close to the center of activity, very clean, staff very nice, food excellent, enjoyed the breakfast deal coupon each day!! Nice front porch and back , nice backyard set up ! Definitely would love to go back! 😊👍😊

I enjoy a hard bed for my back - bed was too soft whereas my sister was in heaven! 😊 Being a little on the “ honorable elder” side of age - being on the third floor was a little taxing especially after a long day of walking. I question the availability of handicap accommodations. The view from the front porch would be ideal to watch the water and world go by. But can the handicapped be accommodated?

The staff and service were excellent.

Breakfast was great. Service was terrific.

Nothing. We had a wonderful experience at the National Hotel. Sitting out back with the music “Man” was terrific. The service there was beyond good. Thank you for such a great memory.

Disappointing

That’s the only thing that made this trip worthy.

Building is needs upgrades like ice machine,elevator,AC that actually works. Let me put it in simple terms. If you like mediocre this place is what you’re looking for.

Excellent service and location. Also loved the patio with live entertainment and fire tables.

There is no place in the hotel to hang out except 6 chairs in the lobby. If you want to eat or drink the porch or bar is available.

Friendly and helpful staff!

Classic hotel, centrally located. The best lobster roll anywhere! Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was the end of the season... The last days the hotel was open. No breakfast our last two mornings as a result. I wish this was more clear when we booked.

Way too expensive based on competition

There was no breakfast... not even a coffee maker in the hotel. The room was clean but tiny, windows would not stay open and the price of the room was $100 more than comparable rooms in town. I should have done more research before committing to The National. They did move us to a queen bedroom, which we appreciated but the website made it seem as if the hotel was full , which it wasn’t. We appreciate the Covid issues but feel they could have made up for the missing benefits by, at least ,giving us a voucher or discount on meals at a nearby restaurant.
