The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was great, across the street is a very good bakery. The breakfast was good and changed a bit each day. The beds were comfortable. The free parking was excellent.

There was no fan in the bathroom. The wifi was not very good. You had no internet connection most of the time.

Good location; clean, comfortable room; adequate free parking and helpful staff.

Price, and our room didn't get cleaned one night. However, we complained, and the hotel gave us a discount on the room rate for that night.

Price wise, things should be better. Not much of an acknowledgement being a valued member. TV channels should have more variety.

Clean facilities, friendly staff at front desk. Location was very convenient for our needs (UC Berkeley graduation) No charge for parking and our car was easily accessible. We liked that it was a smaller motel (3 floors).

Somewhat pricey, facilities are showing signs of being outdated. Breakfast was good, but pancake machine was out of order for our stay of 2 days.

We LOVE this place and we stay here every year when we come to visit our family here. The room is large and clean but the BEST thing is how great the staff is. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.The breakfast room is bright and well stocked with everything you need for a good meal. And last but not least..there is ample guest parking! I wish I knew the names of the managers and the staff so O could mention them personally...they were ALL great

Hot breakfast with many different choices available, hot and cold, eggs, pancake, sausages, bagels, bread, yogurts, cereals, coffee, tea, hot coco, juices, fruit... Friendly staff keeps cleaning and filling up the food

If banana could be added to breakfast fruit, that will be great. My personal preference though.

For this type of hotel, it met our expectations - clean, comfortable, up-to-date, free parking, decent breakfast, a very good value for Berkeley.

The location is a bit far from central Berkeley, but we had a car and getting around was easy. There are not many really good restaurants within walking distance, but it was fine. The one minor disappointment was at breakfast: we expected more fresh fruit, given that we were in CA, and we had just driven by acres and acres of farms with strawberries selling for cheap!
