The location was great, only 5 mins from where I was working plenty of cafes restaurants and coffee shops within a short walk. The room was great, and air-conditioning worked very well. Ample toiletries and the shower was great. The bed was comfortable, and the room was serviced each day. The complimentary water was a nice touch along with the coffee machine that I didn't get around to using.
The charges to my card were not made clear on my arrival. My quotation did not include taxes but this was not stated in the messages and there was a daily $50 incidentals charge that I was not made aware of. Over $750 was taken for what I thought was a $550 stay. The $150 will be refunded sp I am told, but it would have been nice to be aware of this situation on check in.

This hotel has a good staff overall, particularly the person who helped with the storage room for luggage. They are in a good location especially if guests want to visit places that are in the historic district. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the wifi is good. Rooms have a small fridge as well as a microwave.
Some cons were that the bathroom is very small so if you're two travellers together, then you might be bumping into each other often. The shower spray strength was not as robust as it could have been. I'm not sure why, but I was also missing a bar of hand soap. The size of the bodywash and shampoo that they provide are tiny. One of the things to also keep in mind is if you're in a room that's adjacent to another one you're going to be startled often by the loud noise that the doors make when someone opens it right next to you.
A general note on the district/area to be aware of is that many places close early and that they're often closed on Tuesdays or Wednesdays so if you're going to stay mid-week, plan ahead.

The parking facility not connected to hotel. Also the ticket machine did not work—very confusing and took time to get settled. We paid a lot for parking and it was a hassle.

The location was good downtown just a walk up town easy to catch the bus.

We found that the property could do with a good clean under the beds had dirt and cobwebs so had not been cleaned properly for some time.
The standards need to be raised somewhat for the money they are charging.

The Location
The decor was dated
The parking was limited due to high number of rented parking spaces.
The hallways were dark and dimly lit.

The hotel is conveniently located in the old town district so lots of historic sites are at walking distance. Hotel facilities are as one would expect. I didn't go to the restaurant so I can't tell anything about that.
I stayed in this hotel for 10 days (had two consecutive bookings). My room didn't get cleaned until the 8th day of my stay. Had requested room to be clean since day 4 but nothing happened until day 8. Front desk told me that had multiple complaints about rooms not being cleaned (they told me rooms should be cleaned daily). Not sure what the reason was, but it was a dissatisfier for me.
Other issue, a couple of weeks before my stay I had asked the hotel a question via this site, but I never got a response.

The personel was not very friendly and the cleaning not good enough.

Staff was great, location was perfect, overall stay was very good, my partner and I had an amazing time and the value of the place was 100/10.
We had reservations for a deluxe king room and at arrival were told that they were not available and gave us an accessibility room, we were ok with the change but in the shower, the water going everywhere was very uncomfortable and slippery and nothing was really sturdy in the bathroom overall.

La ubicación está muy bien y tiene parking privado justo al lado (les entregas el ticket en recepción para canjearlo), tiene servicios dentro del hotel como ina pequeña tienda y restaurante. Está situado muy bien pues puedes acceder rápido en coche.
El personal muy amable.
El precio quizá un poco elevado para una noche aunquea ubicación hace que valga la pena. La bañera no me gustó mucho, es preferible un plato de ducha.

The location is great! Right near where I need to be. This time the room was a lot smaller than last. View was unexceptional. Good housekeeping service. I tipped the housekeeper well.
The restaurant was a big disappointment. I generally eat elsewhere. Breakfast was overpriced and not as described. It was also understaffed.

Tinha rato no nosso quarto. Os funcionários do hotel chamaram a polícia para multar nosso carro estacionando na frente do hotel. Durante a madrugada levamos duas multas por estar estacionado na frente do hotel sendo que não estava atrapalhando nada e não nos avisaram que não poderia estacionar. Poderiam ligar no quarto e avisar sabendo que era de hóspedes e tiraríamos o carro. Não fizeram isso então por esse motivo eu não recomendo o hotel.

The check in receptionist was very kind.
The shower drain didn’t work well which made for a slippery situation neither did the sink drain, there was damage to the walls by the bed looked like due to the lamp? The beds were too soft. This isn’t hotel fault but could really hear ur neighbor.

The hotel is next to the Historic District of Philadelphia, perfect to reach by subway (5 minutes away), bus or car. You can walk from here to the Rocky statue and enjoy the city in a nice walk. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are quite good and clean. The overall experience has been good. Great restaurants nearby with a lot of choices, way better than the new/financial city centre. The historical area is really nice. There is a restaurant but we didn't try it nor breakfast.
Overall nothing. In Philadelphia there can be quite a few homeless people during the day or the night, but not too close to the hotel. We had no issue with safety concerns.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, & clean. The walls are soundproof because we never heard a thing and slept great :)
The price was outrageous. The amenities were lacking for such a high price. Although the location was perfect.

Restaurant was less than satisfactory. Bathroom had no ventilation fan. Took forever to get hot water. Water was never really 'hot'. Room had very poor acoustics. Front desk staff was professional.

It’s a modern hotel. Not much to look at from the outside, but pleasant inside. Our room was a good size and well equipped. No noise from the neighbours, which was good.
Location was ideal next to Independence Hall and the Mint. I guess that’s why it was overpriced - and breakfast was extra.

The staff was excellent. One employee brought ice to our room since the ice machine on our floor was broken.
The bathroom had peeling in the tub. The bath towels were not soft. No free coffee in the lobby was a disappointment.
