I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent, and it was quiet. I have to go back to Decatur, and this will be the place that I will stay because of the superb customer service.
I really did not find anything that I did not like, but we did have one minor problem. It was handled immediately, which I found to be very helpful because customer service is a plus nowadays, and if it is done right, people will come back. They handled the situation with excellent service, and after that, there were no problems.

it was convenient & clean - very pleasant
I had booked a room with 2 queen beds & given 1 king bed with a pull out sofa. not what i paid for & i had doublechecked to ensure I got the 2 beds. The night manager (Ron) was difficult & not accommodating because we had not talked to him specifically about the 2 beds. very poor customer service on his part. The day manager was far more pleasant & worked towards a solution. We will be visiting Emory for the next 5 years but will not stay at the Holiday Inn Express because of our experience

The room was nice
My room was not serviced the day before I left and when I mentioned it. There was only attitude like I should be okay with full trash cans.
Also, I work early and thought I had breakfast covered. Even though the food was ready, I could not have any because it was 6:10 and breakfast only starts at 6:30, no exceptions and more rudeness.

What an amazingly great experience I had at this hotel. Five stars in every single aspect. The entire staff is top notch and extremely helpful. This place is clean, and I mean really clean. The rooms are well maintained, and the cleaning staff is amazing. They actually wash ALL the linens including the comforters and even the shower curtains. Kudos to our maid, Mendoza, for her thorough work and great attitude! The breakfast is very good with lots of options to accommodate any taste. Twice I watched the front desk clerk, TK, help an older gentleman go through the breakfast buffet and make him a plate. Heartwarming. Bonnie, on the front desk at night, was so helpful and nice. I even overheard a morning staff meeting where the GM, Mr. Octavia Jennings, was praising his staff for their good work. I think he may have cheered. What an amazing team. The rooms are spacious with nice full size Dove amenities in the bathroom, a decent sized mini fridge, microwave, Keurig with pods, and a mini safe. I cannot recommend highly enough after our 5 night stay.

The staff was great!! Very friendly, attentive and helpful!! Great location and easily accessible to highways, etc.
The door frame to room was not aligned, BUT it did not interfere with room privacy or sound barrier to hall so it was a very safe & peaceful stay!
