My overall stay was good.

I loved the breakfast. the eggs were yummy and the pancake 'bar' was great. The staff was friendly and approachable. The room was very clean so I loved that honestly.

The walls are thin so I could hear my neighbours slamming the doors and talking in their room. Although the room is clean, little chips in a few places caused it to look unclean (like the mirror) and dated honestly. My bed was uncomfortable, but because I had two queen beds and I was alone, I used the blankets from the other bed (and asked for an additional blanket) and padded my bed. I was offered a room upgrade when I mentioned the uncomfortable bed (I appreciated the offer), but I preferred to stay in the room I was assigned, so I used the blankets and padded the bed and it was fine from then on.

Very good, comfortable room, nice breakfast to start our day and friendly staff. Good location!

Comfortable room, two sinks and mirrors (one in bath and one outside the bathroom) made it easy for two of us to get ready. The breakfast was very good and facilities were kept clean and food was replenished.

Our King Spa room on the third floor faced the busy street and road noise could be heard in our room. The air conditioning helped drown the street noise during rush hour. However, at night it was quiet and we got a good nights sleep.

Pleasantly surprised

The room was very comfortable and reasonably priced. It was quiet and conveniently located. Breakfast was amazing!

The elevator broke down at one point. Had to walk up and down from the 3rd floor.

A good 10 nights at this hotel. A grocery opposite with very good organic foods etc.

The staff (a lady with an accent in particular- don't know her name) was extremely polite, welcoming such a breath of fresh air to the mornings always enquiring if everyone was alright A wide range of breakfast items to choose from Always very clean environment The white vegetarian egg omelette was such a good change to the normal

Good place to stay

I enjoyed the jetted tub and huge room to myself. Very quite stay which was perfect, since they let me check in early being that I was and am a graveyard worker and traveler.

Lack of places to get food near by.

I booked a non smoking room and upon arrival the room stunk of cigarette smoke. There were no other rooms avail so we were stuck with the smelly one. I don’t feel I should have to pay full price for a room I didn’t book. The front desk worker could not credit me because I booked thru this site.

To be refunded a portion of the cost of the room

No hot water!

Location was fine for my needs. The young lady that checked me in was very nice That's about it.

Taped off whirlpool spa, just tape no information. Guess it wasn't working. Banana peel out in front on my room when checking in and still there checking out the next day. NO HOT WATER!!!!! Have rinse off in cold water. Overall couldn't wait to get out of there. Not Holiday Inn Express quality to me.

Very convient to family in Simi. Would probably give it another visit after reno is complete.

Every staff person we came in contact with were pleasant and professional. Cheerful and efficient. The breakfast provided a good variety of offerings.The cinnamon rolls and tea/hot chocolate was very nice. We only used twice as we slept in too late one morning.

We were not told about the construction/redo and certain not about the spa not working or being available. This was really disappointing as the spas was why the property was chosen by us. The room, bed and mattress were of marginal quality.

the room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable

there was a door at the e d of the corridor outside and it kept slamming all night every time someone went in or out. It was very difficult to get a good nights sleep!
