It was a great stay at Kitty Hawk.

Loved the location, easy access to the beach.

There is a slightly musty smell on the room floors and stairwell.

The worst expericne with both hotel and booking.com

It was under construction, since i booked the room via third party (booking.com), they referred me to booking.com. They did not solve my problem, also booking.com did not help, after lots of calls and messages, they did not provided what it was listed as room i booked. I am disappointed at both hotel and booking.com and will not use it, although i have been a loyal customer since 2012

Nothing, the room is booked was supposed to have ocean view, but it was sth completely different. The AC was so noisy.

It was good for the most part

Breakfast wasn’t included kinda odd since I was in a higher price room I didn’t know you had to pay a certain price to get breakfast. Love the view in my room and location to the beach and pier.

Well the fire alarm went off at 11 pm we had to awake and leave the building I think it was a water pressure issue with the pool. So that was a little alarming to wake up to. Also people would leave their dogs in the room and they would bark for a couple of hours while they were out so that was annoying.

Clean rooms, but rest of facility was substandard.

Rooms were clean

Pool and hot tub were filthy. Parking lot had broken glass. Fire alarm randomly woke us late at night. Stayed on for several minutes. We began evacuating. No text or communication from front desk on what was happening. The person who checked me in entered the wrong expiration date for my credit card causing it to decline. I used a different card, but then called my card company.

The location was great: beachfront, close to shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed the food and drinks at the outdoor grill/shack (very convenient).

The pool was smaller than expected, however I recommend going later in the afternoon, when there aren’t as many people. Rooms were a little tight as well, but were clean and updated.

Sheets made us all itch, stains on bed frame. Room smelled bad and balcony was dirty full of spider webs.

Great for a short trip. Beautiful location on the ocean.

The location was beautiful. So close to the beach. The room had a great view of the ocean. Loved the restaurant on site.

The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan. It got way too hot to even shower and the mirror fogged horribly. The walls had spill stains down them. The look like the weren’t wiped down. It could have been cleaner for the price. The outdoor pool was a little small. Not many chairs around to sit on.

We had a great time. Excellent location and very friendly staff. Best place we've stayed at on the outer banks. Easy excess to everything Kitty hawk.

Nice view of the ocean from our balcony. Convenient restaurant in hotel as well.

Convenient but reflects high-traffic location

Great location on the beach, free parking, and access to Kitty Hawk pier. Friendly staff at reception and on-site restaurant. Breakfast options at the restaurant were great.

Interior is a little dated and well-used. Fitness room was just okay, but had a funky smell. I had a partial view of the sea but I mostly had a direct view over the HVAC system. Walls were a little thin and I could hear my neighbors at all hours. Bit pricey for one night.

Loved the indoor jacuzzi by the pool and the one in our room.

The room was at the VERY end of the hall. I have a hard time walking. Would be great if that room is closer to the elevator. Also, the location of the pool is weird. Had to walk thru the dining room

Exceptional

It was right on the beach and we loved that. we took our dog with us and he had fun as well.

The pool, including the hot tub was treated with a lot of chemicals. Our eyes started burning right after we got in. That part wasn’t fun.
